Upon entering the hall, Those who had been waiting in their quest chairs stood up and saluted. They were expecting to see Yang Kai, so when they saw me, they were all a little more than a bit confused. Specifically it was Yu Chang Dao who had a slight shock.
"Welcome to my High Heaven Palace." I said, returning the salute and moving to my spot, the master's chair. Much to the shock of others.
"Young Master Yang? I… I thought Master Yang Kai was coming? Is that not his position, even if you are the young master…" Yu Chang Dao asked, confused.
I raised my brow and let out a chuckle. "Normally you'd be right. But my father didn't want to be bothered with anything while he is bonding with my newborn siblings. Hence I was given full authority on all matters regarding the Cave Heaven. So whatever it was that you were going to speak with my father about, you can speak to me about instead." I answered motioning for everyone to sit.
"Hmm, I suppose you might be able to help with what I wanted as well." Yu Chang Dao said as he stroked his beard in thought. Eventually relenting and taking his seat again.
"Now then… Uncle Martial Beast, can you explain what brings you? Surely it isn't to hide from something?" I asked, turning my attention to the next guest.
"Ah, that. Well, I heard some rumors about what someone might ask and figured I might as well make myself useful. It isn't because I need a break or anything." Martial Beast Great Emperor answered with a nervous chuckle.
"Right… Well, I won't pry. I'm sure I'll be in the thick of it soon either way." I replied, unconvinced by the answer. "Now, do forgive me for addressing you last, when dealing with your clan it's best if I don't get that odd feeling. My wives are on their way now, in the meantime allow me to welcome you, Yue Zhuo of the Phoenix Clan." I continued, making sure to address all of the guests currently present.
"I suppose you would have a little more difficulty with us than your father, I'll send a letter ahead of me next time if that…" Yue Zhuo suggested.
"No, no, that won't be necessary. The issues I have are much more limited now than they were. As of now it's not a paralytic and more just a tingle. It's likely finally balancing out with my Dragon side. Almost like they are trying to become one… Ah, well, I'd like to answer your questions first either way. So what is it you need from me?" I asked, attempting to get this particular guest out.
"Yes, well I wanted to thank you for the new place nearby. And I wanted to ask if you or your father could help with transportation. There aren't many adult Spirits and we have to go through the lawless area of the 3000 Worlds just to get here. So the transportation of all the young spirits, children and those unhatched has been slow." Yue Zhuo asked, giving an explanation as to why.
"That does seem like it would be difficult to deal with. Right now isn't a great time for my father to leave, nor is it a good time for me either. Perhaps I can send some 7th ranks to help assist in the move. I know of three who need a bit of experience to truly get it together." I replied, taking note of Yue Zhuo's body language. "I can understand your hesitation. But 1 of these 3 is also a space dao cultivator." I added.
"Oh? That would make things easier for sure. Is this person as good as you or your father?" Yue Zhuo asked, a bit too hopeful.
"Sorry, no. That is a bar far too high for him as he is now. That said, he isn't terrible either, I'd put him right around the 5th level when it comes to the Dao of space. While you focus on protection from the 8th ranks that might appear, he can get the transportation really moving. It'll be a good experience for him. Though, I can't really send him without the others following." I said, tempering Yue Zhuo's expectations.
"Hmm, with how quickly I can heal in that new world I don't think it would be an issue to move everyone if we got that help. It'll still take a couple years… Wait, why do you say they all have to come along?" Yue Zhuo asked.
"Ahahaha! Oh the three of them are hilarious. Ever since I beat the three of them. They've been attempting to mimic my thunderport ability. It's an ability that combines the principles of space and time, with the motion and straight forward drive of the spear. It was the first move I learned to get an edge over cultivators of a higher realm than my own." I answered with a laugh. "Ah, a room full of Origin Kings stood no chance against me, while I was a Saint realm. And it was that power that led me to be the kind of man I am today." I added.
"That's a significant jump in strength. Was it really that strong?" Yue Zhuo asked.
"Oh yeah, I even used it on the Ink Battlefield. The Ink Clan found it quite annoying. And during an expedition mission I was able to save quite a lot of open heaven realms using the ability. Though… I did sorta pass out from the strain of moving so many universes by force in that way. You have to remember I was still an Emperor Realm. Even being able to stand on that battlefield was already an achievement. Let alone liberating so many prisoners away from that vile clan." I answered "But enough of that, do you agree with this resolution?" I asked.
"Yes, I believe this will be a major help to us. Thank you, and thank you again for the new world. So many eggs thought to be forever lost have hatched. I heard you saw one yourself. Your father helped before and that did help, but the Ancestral land has suffered too much for too long…" Yue Zhuo said, accepting the resolution.
"Good, take this with you. And… There, they should be ready to meet you outside the new world I created." I said, tossing a few tokens to Yue Zhuo. She emulated a salute of sorts, difficult for her given the clan, then left.
