Wandering aimlessly in the forest, Kiyan groaned repeatedly as he searched for his brother as well as his way out.
"I knew we shouldn't have come in here." He whined lifting his foot off the muddy area he stepped in. The part of the forest he found himself in was swampy and muddy. This infuriated him the most.
"I am so lost." He said and looked around. "Raten?! Where are you?!! If you can hear me, this is all your fault!!" He yelled out. Grabbing hold of the branch of a tree close to him, he pulled himself up and out of the muddy waters which restricted his movements.
Pulling himself out, he stood on the part of the forest which had no mud nor water but was instead, just wet. He did wonder why this part of the forest was this way. It also made him worry as well. It was only proof that he was far away from home at the moment, alone and more importantly, he was hungry.
"Now i wish I had eaten first." He mumbled. His footwear had been lost in the mud and the part of his robe which reached his ankle were covered in mud. Looking down at it, he felt disgusted and tore off the mud stained part of his clothing. Walking barefooted, he continued his search for a way out. After calling out for his brother repeatedly and getting no response, he gave up on finding him and concluded he must be fine as he had met no dangers himself.
Stepping forward into a small plant, he fell down realizing there was actually no further land from there.
"ARGHH!!" He screamed while he slid down the wet, muddy terrain. Looking below him, he saw a dark liquid he didn't wish to fall in. Still, he did with a splash. Fortunately, it was not as deep as he thought.
Rising to his knees, he raised his head and spat out parts of the liquid that got into his mouth. "This is gross." He uttered in disgust as he kept spitting out the substance.
His snow-white hair had now completely turned black, his face, and his clothes, every part of him was covered in the black liquid. Sluggishly dragging his body to his feet, he wiped off the substance from his eyes with his fingers.
"As if the impact of falling was not enough, I had to have this go into my mouth." He whined and spat once more while he tried to get the goo off his body.
Just then, the place began to vibrate. Multiple ripples formed around the surface of the liquid.
"What's going on?" Kiyan wondered as he watched the black liquid move to a certain area. Out of the goo came out a large creature that stared down at Kiyan. With his eyes widened in shock and his body frozen in fear, Kiyan had a lot going through his mind.
'A b-b-beast? How can, how is this.. why is this...?" His mind wasn't able to understand anything at the moment. He was more than petrified and now wished he listened to his father's words. He can't turn back time and stay home, though he wished he could right now.
He had his head up staring into the eyes of a long necked beast with the rest of it's body like that of a spider covered in goo. It had two abnormally large eyes, almost too large for its head. Kiyan had thoughts to move but his body wasn't complying.
"I am in serious trouble." He said inwardly.

Somewhere in the woods, specifically, a small cabin, Agnar looked displeased staring at Raymond.
"I said something basic. What is this? Are you trying to kill them?!" He questioned.
"These are basic tier beasts, Agnar. Just not the weakest. Besides, you said it yourself, you wanted to see how far they have grown. Knowing they have been training with you, I expect them to be able to take on beasts of this tier. Unless you're telling me you've been soft on them?" Raymond raised a brow.
Agnar did see reason with Raymond's words. Yes he wanted to push them to the limits and know how much his training sessions with his sons has gone. Looking back at the two, he concluded they should be able to handle the beasts as long as they don't give in to fear as he's beginning to see.
"You're right. I believe they can handle this. But, Raten's challenge looks too easy. Give him two more of the same kind." He gave a wicked smile.
Hearing his words, both Raymond and the man known as One-eye stared at each other and back at Agnar.
"Are you sure?" One-eye asked.
"Yes, I am." He answered. "This one seems to hesitate a lot. I want to see how he fares when he's cornered. I want to teach him that hesitation can cost his life."
"You want to teach a twelve year old that by putting him up against three beasts? Not just any beasts Agnar, magical beasts!" Raymond spoke clearly not agreeing with Agnar's decision. "Then you say I want to kill them, when clearly you're the psychopath."
"In the three hundred years you were gone, and eleven more I hadn't seen you, I thought you had changed Agnar. But here you are sending your sons to their deaths." One-eye said.
"You both make it seem like I'm a crazy person. I will jump in to save them when I feel they need help." Agnar defend himself. At least, he tried to.
"As you wish." Raymond said and his staff glowed brighter.
The three men sat comfortably watching the twins as they faced off the beasts they were meant to fight. Not being able to watch both fights at the same time, One-eye, having the power of time distorted the time in the cabin they were in making it so if they watched one of the twins, the other would be as though it was paused and they could return to watch the other and without missing anything.
"So, Agnar, which fight do we watch first?" Raymond asked.
