The usual routine began as she headed out of the village and walked down the road gaining a little time to exercise her body on the way to the nearby town.
Just like any other morning when she had kept up the same routine, Ash had come out slightly earlier than before.
There was some information that had been gained and there were some doubts over what had happened previously that let her realise that the case of the black Ferret could be more than a random attack on some stray animal or abandoned pet.
While it was not highly impossible for there to be wild animals lurking around the town in some places due to there being a village and forest area not too far away, the type of animal let herself and the vet realise that the Ferret may not have been a wild animal.
If there was some kind of animal problem then animal control would have been called at some point to handle such situations before they became a bigger problem.
