Chapter 1 - Mental Institution

The fall of a person could be very quick or it could be a very slow process.

It depended on each person and how much they could endure or how much of an ability they would have to resist whatever came their way.

Some may have been able to come out the other side stronger while others would be left broken.

A girl that was dressed in a white straitjacket with black and white striped pants that was seated opposite a man wearing a doctors jacket and spectacles.

The man looked like a doctor by the way he was dressed and was making notes on the documents in front of him. "Go over it again."

The girl looked around fifteen years to sixteen years old, her long hair was a light blonde, her eyes were a light blue, there were two piercing marks under her lower lip that resembled snake bites and she was average looking.

There was a scar on her eye that gave her more of an edgy feeling while there seemed to be some other scars on her tanned skin that were still slightly visible underneath her clothes.

Her body looked physically fit for her age which suggested that she may have took part in some kind of sport as part of a club or was training for it professionally.

The girl had looked over towards the doctor with eyes full of sarcasm. "How did I get here? What is the cause of this? A pen! A single pen!"

The doctor frowned upon seeing her get excited and he knew that she would take a bad turn once again. "Forget it. It seems that you are still not repenting for what you did. Guards! Take her away!"

While the girl was being taken away back to her room, she laughed sarcastically. "What did I do wrong? You are just another one of them who is out to get me!"

The doctor turned her way and put on a sad smile. "It seems that I have no choice.. your delusions are too much for me to handle."

The girl struggled but was injected with something which made her become weak and gradually fall asleep.

The doctor entered a room then made a phone call. "Hello. Yes.. yes.. it is done. It will go according to how you wanted. Thank you again for your support and send more people my way in the future."

He no longer looked professional or like he wanted to help others but instead looked very cold and ruthless. 'They just keep sending me more each time I give them the details of how she is suffering. So long as I keep her alive, the money will keep coming my way. I love it when big families like this have a grudge to settle.'

The other person on the call hung up and the doctor had filled in a document that had the girls photo and information on it. "Patient is unresponsive to treatments and cannot be let back into society. She is a danger to herself and others. Approved for more radical treatment methods."

He looked over it once again before sealing it and placing it in his drawer.

Meanwhile the girl was slipping in and out of consciousness as she was being dragged away. "Ha.. a pen.. a pen.."

Her eyes gradually closed and she was dragged back to a padded room where she lay silently within the darkness.

Memories within her started to play through her mind as she dreamed of a time before she was placed in a mental institution and her life had become so bad.

Her background was about as ordinary as it could be and her mother raised her on her own.

In order to live up to her mother's expectations and to work towards a better life for them both, she had to be develop her patience and hardworking nature.

It was one teachings that she had been brought up with to be understanding of others and be patient with them.

If someone was behaving poorly to her then she would try to understand why they were acting that way and would envision that they must have their own troubles to be acting that way.

There was usually an underlying reason why someone targeted others with little reason but that was not always the case.

Rather than fighting back and escalating the situation, she learned to smile and laugh it off.

Those that did bother her in her youth had mostly grown bored once they found that they would get no reaction from her and she was able to grow up making friends and pursuing her dream.

She worked hard to become an olympic athlete in the future and one of the requirements was to manage her own image or to follow a certain set of rules.

Athletes were not allowed to damage their image and were not allowed to put their hands on others.

If they did then it would become a black stain on the future career and few groups would be so willing to work with her.

It was very easy to slip up one way or another which could lead to the ruin of any kind of person that would be in the middle of the publics attention like an athlete, singer or actor.

An athlete using their trained body to inflict violence on those weaker than them was not a good image to have and far less trainers would want to raise someone like that.

She had higher stamina than others and could run faster than a lot of people her own age so she had been able to avoid any troubles for a long time.

She was not trained for combat so she tended to avoid confrontations anyways but since she was training to be an olympic level gymnast, her level of strength, flexibility, balance and control was already far above those of her age range.

Her bad days started just as she had told the doctor and it had all begun with a single pen.
