Chapter 2 - Azra Dash

It was just an ordinary day in class when another girl had approached her suddenly and asked for her pen.

The other girl was popular with the other students and often had people fawn over her.

Her family and other aspects had created a situation where she was used to getting her own way and other people would give in to her.

She was a young miss of a rich and influential family so her behaviour would be overlooked by the other students and teachers if she did cause any problems inside the school grounds.

Azra Dash was the name of the girl that had been asked to give over her pen but she only had one and no spare so she had to decline.

The prideful young lady had felt insulted and ignored upon being declined so her pride that had been built up had been damaged.

It could have been that Azra was different to others who fawned over her and let her get her own way that made her place a target on the back of Azra but there could have been some other hidden reason.

It began with rumours being spread around the class to isolate Azra and pulling typical childish pranks but then evolved into her gathering those close to her to bother Azra during breaks.

She had come to know that Azra did not fight back when they ruined her books, pens and other things, she still displayed the same smile like she was unaffected which may have triggered them to work harder.

Azra was feeling down about everything but she had her mothers support to worry about during a critical part of her life.

She was getting closer to the ages where sponsorships scouts would appear within the schools to pick out talents so she needed to keep attending the places that allowed her to train.

Her mother had a low paying job but was paying towards those fees so Azra could not let her mother down.

Her father when she was still young and she had no memories of him so most of her life was built around herself and her mother.

It was very important for her to make use of her time to work on what was needed so that her mothers burden would be reduced in the future.

If she became a famous olympic athlete in the gymnastics division then Azra believed that everything would be better for the both of them.

When she was feeling down or pressured, that was hidden behind a smile that showed she did not take the bulling towards her seriously.

There was a limit to what a teenage girl could deal with and her mother had to step in eventually to help her daughter but that only worsened the situation.

The concerns of her mother fell on deaf ears of the principle and the mother of Azra had later lost her job after a little intervention of the family of the girl.

If Azra could run away then she would do so but the group of girls had gotten better at cornering her since they knew of her timetable.

It did not take much for a rich family to deal with an ordinary single mother and child, they showed no mercy in order to protect their image and to label the mother and daughter as the troublemakers.

The isolation and the constant bulling without any protection from others made it far more difficult for Azra when her mother was having her own struggles without having a job.

Azra was cornered once again as the girl had shoved her against the wall and showed a look of disdain. "Come on, keep smiling like you do not care. I hate that look of yours. I have taken just about everything from you and can continue until you have nothing."

Azra looked towards her and asked like she had many times. "Why are you doing this to me? Why would you go this far?"

The girl shrugged and laughed. "Because it is fun? Because I can? Because you thought you could just ignore and deny me? I really do not know anymore. All I know is that this started with a pen and now I just want to see you suffer."

Azra responded. "You really are twisted to take things this far for something so meaningless."

Azra was suddenly slapped in the face by the girl who had said coldly. "Know your place already. A single word from me can ruin that precious futures you have been working towards. That stupid mother of yours has already been dealt with for interfering in this game of mine. Stupid old hag."

The reasoning of the girl had made Azra stupefied and angry but when he mother was mentioned, there was a moment where emotions took over her reason.

Her hands pushed out with enough force to push the girl over and the girl fell backwards.

The girl was much weaker than Azra and had been pampered most of her life so she did not even have to carry most of her things a lot of the time.

What made her so scary and intimidating was the influence behind her but in front of Azra, she was just a feeble young lady.

The bulling had only been effective due to Azra not fighting back and wanting to not stir up trouble.

The supporting girls were shocked and tried to reach out to catch the young lady but it was already too late.

The young lady fell back and hit her head which left some blood staining the ground as she lay there.

A single moment had left Azra in shock as she stared at her hands and the body in front of her. "W..what have I done?"

"Quick! Quick! Call an ambulance!"

"Do not touch her!"

"She is still breathing."

"Yes, please hurry!"

"No she is not conscious!"

"She is bleeding from the head so hurry!"

That was the day and moment that a single action of hers would result in her being placed in the mental institution and gaining the hatred of an influential family for what she had done.

Any freedom that she previously had no longer existed and she was completely in the hands of the family which could decide her fate.
