She made sure to answer carefully to give as much information as possible but she did not sound too forceful to push her ideas onto Decker.
She still remembered that she was below Decker in rank so she had to give him options to choose from to allow him to form his ideas and make his own decisions.
He would not like it too much if she forced the options onto him and chose from them since it would only help increase his doubts toward her.
The best that she could do was to guide him and hope that he made use of the information to form a plan of action that she already had in mind.
The bait had already been thrown out so all that was left was for him to go after it.
If she was too eager to have the bait taken and made the wrong move then all she would accomplish was to scare off Decker who she had been aiming for.
If she missed such a chance then it was very unlikely that another chance would appear again.
