There were some valid reasons why she could not let go of such a place.
It was cheap and it did not require her to give out her personal information like a valid identification card or document.
It was deeply connected to the fighting events too so she could not lose such a connection so easily.
If she lost such contacts then there could be a day when she would no longer have a valid method to enter the fighting events.
She may have had Max to help her get connections and be put on the regular updates for future events and fights but that could always end abruptly.
All it took was for someone to miss her out among the many people who got updated about them or for one person with enough power to be able to remove her from that list of people.
Such a place was always full of those that could manipulate the system to suit whatever they wanted to happen even if it meant pushing some others out of that sphere of influence.
