The people involved with the fighting events wanted to keep the fights entertaining and free from scandals of different types so they would make a move eventually if such things happened once or twice.
With everything that she knew about the events, she knew that she could not afford to drop out of her fight and it was just as important for her to keep fighting to help take a step closer toward her goal.
It was not the kind of place where she could just give up whenever she felt like it.
The only option available to her was to keep going or to take a loss the original way.
The other method of ending the fight would be painful and would leave her feeling worse off since she would be taking yet another step back and would feel worse afterwards.
Ash would feel that she perhaps could have won if it was not for her sudden episode then perhaps she may not have lost.
