All Balancers put their lives on the line every day of their lives for whatever reason that motivates them to do so. A Balancer would not be the average person if they could keep that up without going crazy or breaking down.
It could be said that many Balancers have a screw loose but that is just my way of thinking along with a few others. Each person has a way that is different from others and has their motivations for why they do it.
When faced with an impossible choice that could result in your death or the death of a comrade... there cannot be a correct answer to be chosen. Not every choice you make will result in positive effects.
