The girl's hands were cold, Lucinda could see her own breath as she breathed out, trying to warm herself up, she realized she couldn't hear any sound at the dock anymore... She looked around, the market was gone, but the sea was still there, with dark clouds overhead and the sound of seagulls could be heard from a distance, "Where's the market? Where are we?" she quickly asked, her teeth chattering from the cold, she couldn't wrap her arms around her body because the little girl still held on to her tightly.... Looking up, the girl smiled at her and dragged her towards the sea. Lucinda tried resisting, but the girl proved to be more powerful than her.
"Let me go!" Lucinda shouted out weakly, her heartbeat slowing as the girl dragged her into the water. She couldn't stand the inhospitable environment, the water's temperature was below zero and just the shallow end reached up to her chin.
