ESTEFAN'S POV
The car stopped in front of the Knight Tech building which was a thirty-floored building covered with blue transparent glass. My dad and I walked through the revolving door and made our way into the private elevator that was only used by the CEO but he extended the use to us.
We stopped the elevator on the twenty-fifth floor and made our way to the conference room where Mr Knight's secretary, Jordan, waiting at the entrance.
He approached us with a wide smile on his face. "Welcome Your Highnesses. Everyone is waiting for you in the conference room."
He opened the metal door that led to the conference room and everyone stood up upon our entrance. The room was filled with the company's board of directors and shareholders taking their places on either side of the conference table.
Mr Knight sat at the head of the table while my father took the seat on his right with me beside him and some royal bodyguards taking their positions behind us. The lights of the room were turned off as the project manager switched on the projector that was displayed on the large whiteboard plastered on the wall opposite us and began the presentation of the company's newest project.
Everyone applauded as he concluded the presentation. It was no doubt that Knight Tech was one of the best Technology companies in London. My father knew that their new project was going to be successful when he heard about it that was why he insisted on investing in it.
"What do you think, Your Highness?" Mr Knight turned to my Dad.
"I think it's one of the best technology improvements so far." He smiled.
"Should we proceed with the signing of the contract right away?"
"Before that, I would like to have a word with you."
"Sure." He stood up. "Let's go to my office."
My dad and I followed behind him to the private elevator that took us to the top floor where Mr Knight's office was located. We stepped into the office that was illuminated with white fluorescent light. The walls of the office were made of glass that produce an amazing view of the beautiful city of West London.
They sat on the white couch opposite each other while I went ahead to stand by the glass wall behind Mr Knight's desk with my back turned to them, enjoying the amazing view as I listened to their conversation.
"So what is it you want to talk about?" Mr Knight asked.
"This might come a bit sudden but I want you to think it through before you give your reply," I heard my dad say before he sighed and continued, "It's about your daughters."
"What about them? Did they do something wrong?" Mr Knight said with confusion laced in his voice.
"No, not at all." My dad chuckled. "When I met your daughters, I admired their beauty and how well-mannered they are, and I would like it if you could give one of them hand in marriage to my son, Estefan."
"You want one of my daughters to marry your son and become the princess of Spain?"
"Yes. We can make it a part of the contract by sealing the deal with a marriage between our families. I also plan to offer an extension of the Knight Tech in Spain if you agree to it."
"Really?" The excitement in his voice couldn't be missed. "That's a fantastic offer." He laughed.
"So what do you say?"
"Is the prince okay with the arrangement?" He asked and I could feel their eyes on me.
"Of course, but he has a condition." There was a pause before my dad continued, "He wants to be the one to choose his wife between your daughters."
"That's fine, both of them are already mature enough to get married. I just have to talk to them first and get a go-ahead before I agree to sign the contract."
"Of course, that's necessary. But I would like everything to be finalized tomorrow because I have to travel back to Spain the day after tomorrow but Estefan would stay back for a while and take care of everything that needs my attention."
"Sure." The shuffling on the couch made me turn around to meet them on their feet. "It would be a pleasure working with you, Your Highness."
"Me too." They shook hands before he escorted me and my dad on our way out of the office.
When we got back to the hotel, I walked straight to my suite while my dad went to Esmeralda's room to check on her. I took off the white three-piece suit I was wearing and changed into a pair of sweatpants and a sweatshirt. I lay on my bed to relax for a while when I recollected what Esteban said that morning about Leah and me trending on social media.
Picking up my phone from the lampstand, I went through Twitter and found pictures of Leah and me at the restaurant plastered everywhere.
"Don't people try to mind their businesses anymore?" I whispered to myself as I kept scrolling.
A knock sounded on my door and I stood from my bed to check who it was. Looking through the door, I shook my head at my sister who was pacing around the entrance. I opened the door. "What do you want?"
"Dad said you are getting married." She pushed past me to enter my room.
"Okay, so?" I shut the door and turned to her folded arms.
"Is it Leah? Because I've been seeing posts of people shipping you guys together on social media." She placed her hands on her waist.
"Just because people are shipping us together doesn't mean I'm going to marry her." I moved to sit on the couch.
Her face brightened up with a big smile like she was happy with what I said. "My thoughts exactly." She sat next to me on the couch. "You know I think you should marry Rhea instead."
"Why?" I raised my eyebrows at her.
"I got to spend some time with her yesterday and I noticed you guys have so much in common. You know, she's an amazing writer and you love reading books, isn't that a match made in heaven?"
I gave a bored look. "Just because two people have some things in common doesn't mean they are meant for each other."
"Then which one of them are you going to marry?" pouted.
"I don't know yet. Just wait and find out who it's gonna be."
