LEAH'S POV
Stepping into the restaurant twenty minutes later, my eyes scanned the room and stopped when they landed on a familiar dirty blond hair guy whose attention was fixed on his phone. A smile made its way to my face as I approached him slowly, taking in his appearance.
He was looking devilishly handsome in an all-white outfit, making him appear like a big bad handsome wolf in sheep's clothing; a wolf I wouldn't mind being bitten by.
"Hi." I took the seat opposite him.
"Miss Knight, one of the things I hate the most is people coming late to an appointment." He glanced up from his phone. "I'm a man who strictly keeps to time and I don't appreciate others wasting my time by coming late."
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. I got delayed a bit when I was about to leave the studio."
"It's fine, I'm only letting you know in case of next time." He turned his attention back to his phone.
Next time?
That was the word that stuck in my head. It meant that he wanted to hang out with me again. If that didn't just make up my entire day, I didn't know what would.
"Okay, I'll keep that in mind for next time." I smiled. "So how is your day going?"
He turned off his phone and placed it on the table to give me his divided attention. "Pretty well. You?"
"A bit stressful but it's nothing I can't handle." I shrugged and he nodded. "Also I wanted to apologize for what happened yesterday."
He gave me a confused look. "Yesterday?"
"Throughout the dinner, I kept talking about myself that I didn't even bother to ask you how you were, or how you were enjoying your stay in London, and I only realize it after you left, I'm sorry."
"It's okay. It's not a big deal." He shrugged.
"No, it's not okay. I've always had that bad habit of talking about myself all the time, and I couldn't bring myself to stop once I start. No wonder I don't have friends." I sighed. "But not to worry, I'll work on it and make sure it never happens again." I smiled and he nodded.
A waiter in a blue shirt and black pants came to our table with a pen and jotter in hand. "Would you like to place your orders now?"
"Yes," I replied and turned to Estefan who was looking through the menu "This restaurant serves the best Fish and Chips, you should try it."
"No, I think I'll go with Shepherd's pie." He ordered and dropped the menu.
"What about you, Miss?" The waiter turned to me.
"I'll have some fish and chips," I said and the waiter left after writing it down in his jotter.
As we waited for our order a smile etched on my lips as my eyes strained on Estefan who was staring out the window beside us. He turned his head and caught me staring at him.
"Why are staring at me like that?" He cocked an eyebrow.
"I'm just surprised at how you and my sister are so much alike."
"Rhea?"
"Yes." I nodded. "Judging by the colour of the outfit you wore yesterday and today, I concluded that you love the white colour and so does Rhea. She never loved flashing colours like red, or pink like most girls do, but you would always see her in White most of the time and sometimes with a touch of black because she believed you can never go wrong with those colours."
"She's right. That's why I fell in love with the colour."
"Although she's always home, she's so time conscious and would always complain that twenty-four hours is too short for a day. And also, you are the second person I've met who picked shepherd's pie over Fish and chips after Rhea, it's like she's addicted to that dish." I shook my head. "If Rhea could go out of the house, you guys would have become best friends."
"Well, it feels nice to know that I'm not the only one with those characteristics." He shrugged.
The waiter came back with our food and I only realized how hungry I was when the plate of delicious Fish and chips sat in front of me. We dug into our food in complete silence which made me uncomfortable. Silence and I can't survive together in the same room.
"You know, it kind of bothers me that Rhea can't go out of the house," I started, getting Estefan's attention back on me. "She's a little ball of sunshine and it's shame that her light is being kept within the four walls of our house. If only I could do something to get rid of her fear." I sighed.
"You must love your sister a lot," he said with the same blank expression he has been wearing since I arrived.
Will it kill him to show a bit of emotion?
"Of course I do." I smiled. "Even though she can be very rude and disrespectful sometimes, it's really hard to be mad at her when she gives you her cute puppy dog eyes. It's like she has a gift which makes people fall in love with her. Our entire family loves her but they walk on broken glasses around her because they are scared of hurting her feelings."
"Why is that?"
"Rhea might look cute and innocent but the last thing you want to do is make her angry or hurt her feelings. She might not even do anything to you but when you realise your mistake and apologize to her, it will take a lifetime for her to forgive and let go of the grudge."
"Remind me not to get on her bad side." He continued eating his food. "I think I should leave now, I have some things to attend to." He signalled the waiter for bills as he finished eating his food.
"Oh okay." My face fell. "How long will you be staying in London?"
"A week or more if there's a change of plan."
"That means we can get another chance to hang out before you leave." My face lit up.
"Yeah, sure. See you later." He walked out of the restaurant after paying for our lunch.
The famous Spanish Prince who is known for his disregard for women was finally in my grasp and there was no way I would let him get away.
