Yawns filled a fairly large theater, as a live feed played on a large screen before a small audience of mix-matched beings.
While it was called a live feed at this time you would never be able to tell, especially as the core subject had been slumped over, dead-eyed, for almost four days at this point.
All the viewers present were disgruntled over such a boring and lackadaisical performance, especially right after the main character of their show, Adrian Walker, was about to reunite with long-lost friends and family.
Just before the current situation occurred many new viewers made their way here to witness the uniqueness of the main character, but were quickly disappointed by the sight they were forced to watch.
As many new faces entered as they left, no one who had not seen the beginning would care about watching a potato lying on the floor of a cave, while two unimaginable existences constantly fought in the front of the theater.
However, those lucky 23 originals that stayed till this point, had experienced insight, epiphany, and enlightenment over and over again as Adrian explained his thoughts and techniques.
Some of the 'less mentally inclined' viewers even attempted to mimic Adrian's stance and somehow found themselves entering their mental realm easier, further fueling their drive to stay till the end.
Even still one thing was certain in all of their minds, not only could they learn from Adrian's unique perspective, but they could also easily communicate with and watch other unfathomable beings to gain even more from this place.
The only problem they could think of was the fact that at least once a day two unexplainable existences, called Cursed Writer and Original System, would fight, ruining the scholarly atmosphere.
Luckily, even though those two wouldn't destroy the balance of Nexus as no one wants to mess up their main entertainment platform and multiversal and dimensional connection hub.
At points, those two would even apologize by emitting their insights for others to process, even if they would never admit their wrongdoings.
Though at this point no one paid those two's verbal and physical fights any mind, as they were too busy sending messages to their avatars and representatives to farm up fate and faith points so that when Adrian 'came back online' they could finally have their questions answered.
If any mortal saw these god-like beings so entranced by and respectful to another mortal, like Adrian, as each and every one of these beings could influence or even destroy a universe with a single order, they would die from shock on the spot.
On the other hand, if any mortal, who cultivated mana or spiritual energy and had even a slight bit of realization quality, heard even a fraction of Adrian's Nine Emotions Art they could easily break through to the Null Self or Saint Stage.
That is to say just by watching and listening to this odd creature even a mortal could terraform worlds with a thought and lead their species toward a higher tier.
Contrary to the sheer magnitude of this theater's feed, a certain System grew restless arguing against Cursed Writer, "Why won't you alter a single narration, even just a sentence of his story will do?!"
Rolling his eyes, Cursed Writer punched the space in front of him pulling out a chained book, "As I've been telling you… I can not do that. He is disconnected from Nexus and- New pages appeared, but they won't fill in."
While speaking Cursed Writer pulled out two other much thicker books, before snapping his fingers as the chains surrounding each book transformed into ink staining the books.
Smirking, Cursed Writer dramatically sighed, "But~ If that's what you want!"
Curious Lonely White Moon peeked at the book's titles only to have her mind assaulted as an inky chain-like tattoo spread across her body before she could even glimpse the titles.
Ignoring her, OS took a humanoid form for the first time after stepping into this theater so long ago, as the curse on those books could block even Demi's eyes if he wasn't here in person.
His once plump shiny orb-like form, dissolved morphing into a copy of Cursed Writer, resembling a four-eyed, grayish-purple-skinned humanoid, who had six fingers on each hand along with a dexterous tail swaying behind him, the only difference between the two was a tattoo that spread across their necks, eye color, and their clothing.
Cursed Writer wore baggy clothes that almost obscured the fact that he had a book and quill tattooed across the right side of his neck. But, that was far less eye-catching compared to his eyes, as his two right eyes housed misty black light and his two left eyes housed glowing white light creating a duality and mysticism across his face.
Meanwhile, Original System's tattoo resembled a collar with the phrase, "Insanity Breeds Strength Just As Sanity Limits Potential" etched into it. His clothes resembled that of a jester mixed with a butler all threaded with purple hues, and his top two eyes released gold light as his bottom two eyes had hazy purple light.
Noticing OS's transformation, Cursed Writer couldn't help, but teasingly scoff, "After all this time you still can't forget your true host, huh! Madness~"
Embarrassed, Original System crossed his arms as he kicked Cursed Writer in the side peeking into the three books in his arms.
After reading their respective titles, Adrian Walker - Evo, Madness System, & Self, OS panicked, but Cursed Writer quickly flipped each book first showing the blank pages in Adrian, before quickly writing in both of their books, 'Host and System, both suddenly felt incredibly tired, blinking before finding themselves awake just as Adrian did.'
Instantly, Cursed Writer's eyes shone, bathing the entirety of Nexus, the universal connection point, in the two ancestral sources that dueled in his eyes, altering the very laws of all things to fit his narrative. Just as the lights bathed Nexus in an instant, so too did they return to his eyes just as quickly.
While everyone was distracted by what to them was, the sudden collapse of Cursed Writer and Original System, the trio of books that had been taken out had their chains reform as they returned to nothingness from whence they came.
Leaving the normally rowdy Nexus Entertainment theater silent, except for Lonely White Moon's muffled grunting as she broke free from the energyless chains.
