Chapter 1 - Dramatic start

Part 0 prologue:

His eyes were no longer the color of fire, they were the color of blood. The blood of all the lives he had taken, his hands were drenched in it. The people feared him, they were scared to even say his name, so instead they just called him "The Devil".

*** Denji was a normal boy who lost his father and needed to take care of his ill mother and little sister, but on the way home happens something he didn't expect: he died. But the surprises does not end there, he gets a change to go back if he can win a game- the hell game.

"I want to see my mother and sister again, and for that, I'm ready to do anything, even if it means to continue killing people and getting called for devil."

"Even if it means to drown in others blood"

Part 1:

"Happy birthday Denji" she said while smiling and stroking his pitch-black hair that reached to his shoulders. "It's a good day so promise me you will be happy"

Denji couldn't answer. Who can be happy when one's mother is in a hospital and slowly dying?

He changed the subject quickly and peeled an apple for her. He was near to start crying but couldn't do it in front of his mother. He needs to show her his strong side, so she doesn't need to be worried. She can't get stressed, she needs to rest.

He was with her until it was time for her to take the medicine and sleep, then he left.

On the way home he decided to go to a bar to calm down. He could no longer hold his tears. He had already lost his father, so he can't lose his mother too.

How will he be able to take care of his 8-year-old sister alone?

Denji drank in the hope of calming his pain, but it didn't help him. He was worried. His mother was in a very bad condition, if she one day dies how will he be able to live?

And his dear little sister, her beautiful blue eyes full of life, what will happen to them?

Her eyes were beautiful like the blue ocean, like the dark blue sky with all the beautiful stars, meanwhile his eyes were like hot fire that light up the dark night.

After a while he decided to go home, it was to make food for his little angel, the one and only sister he had.

It was chilly and dark outside on the street. The night was stunning, with the big and bright moon and the beautiful sky full of stars.

It wasn't often you could see stars there, so he stopped and stood there in the middle of the street. Watched the sky and longed for the good days when his family was whole.

Before he lost his father, before his mother got ill and before he no longer could see the meaning of life.

He stood there for a while, until a car drove toward him at full speed.

"Should I dodge? But why? Why would I? Won't it be easier to just disappear, to just leave all the sadness, all the stress, all the pain and finally rest?!"

Then the image of his sister came to his mind. He couldn't leave her. Who will take care of her if not him?

He tried to dodge the car, but it was too late. There was a loud crash and he felt how the strength left his body. How the pain was strong but then started to disappear.

"I'm sorry my angel, but it seems I too will leave you now"

The tears ran down his cheeks and then everything ended.

He felt nothing, he heard nothing and couldn't see anything, only emptiness.
