" Em goddess Li Hua, you are so beautiful," Jiang Te said from behind as they made a turn into the passage.
" stop kissing my ass" Li Hua replied and Jiang Te placed his palm on his chest.
" ouch! I almost got a cardiac arrest" Jiang Te said heaving a sigh.
" Don't worry, you're in the hospital " Li Hua replied.
" ah didn't know doctors are this fierce" Jiang Te said and Li Hua snickered.
" Goddess .."
" wait here, I will get his file from my office," Li Hua told him and walked into her office.
She skimmed through the files on her desk and saw Quan Qiang's file. She took it and went to meet Jiang Te outside her office.
" Let's go," She told him and started walking towards the passage that leads to Quan Qiang's room.
" Goddess Li Hua" Jiang Te called and Li Hua stopped walking.
" em, it's nothing," Jiang Te said and they continued walking.

"Boss goddess Li Hua is here," Jiang Te said and grinned from ear to ear.
" Dr. Li Hua" Li Hua corrected and returned her attention to the man who was having a glass of water on the bed.
She watched him gulp down the water and she immediately felt thirsty. She gulped the saliva in her mouth and let out a sigh.
" Mr. Quan, are you having pains?" Li Hua demanded after a brief silence.
Quan Qian dropped the glass on the desk by his bedside and turned to face the duo that entered the room some minutes ago.
Jiang Te winked at him and Quan Qiang glared at him. One that says 'Do that again and I will kick your ass' and Jiang Te quickly composed himself beside Li Hua.
" Mr. Quan, are you having pains?" Li Hua asked again but Quan Qiang did not reply.
" seems like your boss went dumb" Li Hua sneered and Jiang Te covered his mouth with his palm to stop himself from laughing out loud.
Is his boss dumb? No way. He was talking with him a few minutes ago before he asked him to fetch Li Hua.
" he can't be dumb" Jiang Te spoke up for his boss.
" then let him speak for himself" Li Hua shunned him.
" When can I leave here?" Quan Qiang asked after being mute for five minutes.
" As soon your leg is healed" Li Hua answered.
" How long will it takes?" Quan Qiang asked again. His eyes fixed on his cast leg.
"If you take your medications properly it won't take more than five days" Li Hua replied.
" what do you mean by medications?" Quan Qiang asked with a tone filled with annoyance.
" not like I'm a bipolar patient that needs medications to keep me sane" He added and Li Hua palmed her forehead.
" Your condition is beyond my abilities," Li Hua said and made to walk away. As a doctor, she knew she should be patient with her patients but not in this case. Quan Qiang is probably doing this on purpose.
" is that how you treat your patients?" Quan Qiang asked feeling wronged and Li Hua turned to look back at him.
" yes, the dumb ones" She replied and slammed the door behind her.
Jiang Te let out a loud laugh and fell on the couch while holding his stomach so tight.
" I wasn't expecting this to be interesting. Goddess Li Hua is so fiest " Jiang Te said amidst laughter and Quan Qiang threw a pillow at him.
" you call that ugly thing a goddess. You dumb brat" Quan Qiang sneered and Jiang Te went into another round of laughter.
" To you she's ugly but to me, she is a goddess." Jiang Te said and sat on the floor while resting his back on the sofa.
" Goddess?" Quan Qiang asked to be sure he heard well.
" Yes, goddess. Dr. Li is so beautiful but the blind can't see that. Her skin is so flawless and her black eyes are so charming. Her legs are so straight and I can imagine myself already..."
" Jiang Te!" Quan Qiang called coldly and Jiang Te swallowed the words in his mouth.
He could see the line on his boss's face and he does not need an explanation before he understands.
" what do you think you're saying? What are you trying to convey?" Quan Qiang asked with his eyes fixed on Jiang Te's face.
" Nothing boss, I was just admiring goddess Li Hua. She's too beautiful to be ugly" Jiang Te replied almost immediately.
" do you think I'm dumb?" Quan Qiang asked with his brows raised.
" em, goddess Li Hua just diagnosed you as being dumb" Jiang Te replied and Quan Qiang turned to face him. His face was void of any expression and at this juncture, Jiang Te don't know if he had touched the scorpion's tail or not.
Jiang Te rubbed his sweaty palms together and fixed his watering eyes on his boss's side profile when he turned to look outside the window.
He opened his mouth to speak but no words came out. He could not think of the appropriate words to say and he could only gaze at Quan Qiang hoping he would say what was on his mind.
But he knows his boss best, the fact that they have been together for five years. Jiang Te knew when the boss is angry and not angry but right now, he is confused and doesn't know if Quan Qiang is angry or not.
" Do you want to chase Li Hua?" Quan Qiang asked out of the blue and Jiang swallowed hard.
He wondered why his boss suddenly let go of the discussion they were having or if could it be he is not offended by what he said.
" Goddess Li Hua is too pretty to be single" Jiang Te replied while tugging on his coat.
" Yes or no?" Quan Qiang questioned.
" umm, that's a yes," Jiang Te said more like a mumble.
" Have you forgotten you're not allowed to date and not until I'm married?" Quan Qiang asked again.
" boss" Jiang Te called.
"Which do you want? Your job or her?"
Quan Qiang cuts him off.
" my job" Jiang Te answered grumpily.
" Do I need to tell you what to do?" Quan Qiang asked again.
" No boss" Jiang Te replied.
" No bonus for you this month," Quan Qiang said and picked up his phone from the bed.
"Why boss?" Jiang Te asked with a moody face.
" For thinking of chasing Li Hua and agreeing with her that I'm dumb and also calling me blind"
