The dungeon starts collapsing and destroys most of my clones. All the inventory of the clones is connected to mine so that was not my problem. I could use spatial magic to escape but there are still some treasures left uncollected. Before the dungeon started collapsing I used search magic to see if there is any hidden treasure and I found a secret room
I broke through the walls and rushed as the dungeon was falling. I saw a piece of paper, other than that the whole room was empty. This room was exactly like how Yuno described it. I used the wind's rush and dashed to the paper and used Noelle's water shield to protect it from getting crushed by a boulder. The piece of paper enters my grimoire and I barely teleported myself out of the dungeon.
Meanwhile, the others made it out safely. Klaus apologised to Asta and Yuno for underestimating commoners. They accepted it and we all went back our ways. But here's the problem that is my clone I have to substitute in without them noticing. If I were to tell them I got the treasures they will go to the kingdom but if I keep it a secret I am rich for life. If you thought I was a good person why would I exchange money for some fame no way.
When we returned to the golden dawn headquarters we went to each of our rooms so I used spatial magic to enter my room and cancelled my clone. Now my curiosity grew even more about what could have been that piece of paper. I tried using it and found out that it was synthesis magic. It can be used to separate or combine mana. This magic is practically made for me. I wanted to try and combine 2 types of magic but I heard someone knock on my door.
Klaus was standing outside the door. He said, "The Wizard king has given us a star and he has summoned us to tell him about the dungeon personally in three days so get prepared. " I had three days until meeting the wizard king so I went to the main office of golden dawn to do some missions. The requests for missions and their rewards are given to the receptionist who displays them on the mission board where you can take any missions. Usually, this process is done by a senior like Klaus but before he could teach us about this we were requested specifically by some noble and the wizard king himself. The missions are usually taken by mages in teams of 3 our team being the exception (being a team of 4 mages).
I went to the receptionist to ask if there are any missions I can take. She replied, "There are many missions for beginners choose one from the notice board on the very left". I looked through the missions on the board and chose a mission. I took the mission notice which was pinned to the notice board to the receptionist and she looked at me with surprise. "You chose hunting a flame boar as a first mission ? " she asked. "is the problem? " I replied. She said "No but it is rare for newbies to take this as their first mission so how many people are taking this mission? " when I replied it's just me she asked if I am crazy." Even a rank 3 Junior magic knight would struggle against a flame boar alone and you want to take this mission when you are just a rank 5 junior magic knight do you not value your own life? "."Let him go, Isabella, some people simply have a death wish" said a voice from behind me.
