Brock challenged me to a duel. Like any proud man would do I refused I don't like bullying the weak and I have nothing to gain. Brock said "Are you scared? "I replied, "It's not fun to fight someone weak, it's boring." he got mad again and attacked me without my consent. I used wind tornado 🌪️, defeated him in one hit and left saying it was self-defence. Everyone was looking at me but I didn't pay attention to them and I went to the receptionist.
I asked her where can I sell a mana core of an advanced-rank beast. She looked at me even more shocked than she was and said "You got a mana core from the first advanced mana beast you defeated. The probability of getting a mana core is 1 per cent from a basic rank mana beast but the probability decreases as the rank increases so the probability of getting a mana core from an advanced rank beast is 0.01 per cent. "I wondered if it was due to my infinite luck. I guess it would be weird if I also got 6 basic rank mana cores too so it's good that I didn't get them. "I will tell you when we have someone ready to buy the core until then please keep the core with you ". I said sure and left. I experimented with my synthesis magic for 2 days.
It was finally time to meet the wizard king directly. I met up with Klaus, Yuno and Mimosa. I greeted them all and when I greeted Mimosa she kept blushing I wonder what her problem is. we then met up with the black bulls Asta, Noelle and Luck and visited the castle.
Someone wearing a cape appeared in front of us he had a weird tattoo on his forehead. He introduced himself as the wizard King Julius Novachrono. For a wizard king, he was surprisingly easygoing he didn't discriminate against commoners and talked freely with all of us. We learnt that he is a big magic nerd and he can read what's written on our grimoires. If he can do that then it would only mean that he knows ancient language.
He looked at Yuno's parchment and said it was spirit magic. When he looked at Asta' and my grimoire he couldn't read it. He said that only Asta can use his anti-magic because he doesn't have any mana so no one else can use it because it would drain all their mana. This is false, sure his sword drains mana faster but if you have high amounts of mana like mine you can use it for around 1 minute or when you fully run out of mana you could try and use the sword but that's highly not the case because you will go through mana exhaustion. It's a phenomenon in which you will get tired and fall down.
He then looked through my grimoire but he couldn't read anything so all we know is that my magic can copy anything as long as I have seen others use it. Wait does that mean I can copy others' skills too? So I tried copying the wizard king's skill to read the ancient scriptures. I tried reading what was written on my grimoire but it worked this time. The skill which wizard king could use but couldn't read I can copy it and increase its power to the point where I can use it to do what he couldn't do. But What was written on my grimoire shocked me to my very core.
