Nevaeh slowly opened his eyes, his vision blurry as he tried to make sense of his surroundings. He found himself tied up in a dimly lit room.
As his senses slowly returned to him, a beautiful voice interrupted his thoughts. "How Long are you going to keep sleeping?". The voice asked.
Nevaeh looked up to see a beautiful young woman staring at him. "Wow, you're beautiful". He exclaimed as he squinted to get a better look at her face in the poorly illuminated room despite his situation.
"Excuse me?". The woman replied, looking at him with disgust.
"Tsk, what they say about him is true," She said as she turned to Gabby who just walked in.
"Just ignore him, Cara". Gabby said with a booming voice.
Nevaeh's confusion grew as he watched his old friend, Gabby, walk in. He thought Gabby died of cancer, but there he was, Alive, and Well.
"Is- Is that you?" Nevaeh asked, his voice shaking with emotions.
Gabby grinned at him "I see you haven't changed a bit, buddy" he said, looking at Nevaeh.
Nevaeh always had a feeling that Gabby, who was believed to be dead, was still alive and lurking in the shadows. Although he wasn't so sure, he suspected that if Gabby were to reappear. It would not be out of love, but rather to cause harm to Eunice, his lover. As a result, Nevaeh always kept a close eye on Eunice to ensure her safety and over time he found himself falling in love with her.
However, Eunice only saw him as a close friend. Gabby was the only person whom she loved deeply and couldn't envision herself loving or caring for anyone else in the same way
Nevaeh's brow creased as he asked, "What is your intention with her?"
Cara, who was standing nearby, suddenly burst into laughter as she said, "He's quite sharp when it comes to understanding things quickly." With a smirk on her face.
The room fell silent as Gabby took a few steps closer to Nevaeh, his piercing green eyes locked onto Him.
"Well, my dear friend, I want you to help me bring her down in shame," he said.
Nevaeh felt his stomach churn as the words sunk in. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. This was his best friend who has always professed his undying love for Eunice, the man who always promised to do anything for her.
Gabby's voice became low and menacing as he continued, " I can't hurt her, but you can"
A surge of anger rose within Nevaeh as he asked.
"Isn't she your one and only lover?!".
Immediately, Cara spoke up. "She WAS his one and only lover".
She said, in a jealous tone emphasizing the 'WAS'. She rolled her eyes and let out a sigh as she approached Gabby, raising herself on her toes to reach his lips, intending to kiss him. But, Gabby appeared to be more focused on Nevaeh as he didn't even react to the kiss.
She immediately brought herself down with an exasperated sigh and an annoyed look.
"Can we go now, babe?" she asked, with an endearing tone.
Immediately, Gabby smirked as he turned around to leave.
"Untie him, my love. Let him go," he said as he reached the door and halted.
"He will help me destroy her, He is my buddy after all," he said as he left the room.

A week later....
Eunice steps out of Aurora's room, a contented smile gracing her face. Lately, She has been relishing the moments spent with her daughter, her happiness was evident as she walked out.
As she stood by the entrance, Diego hurriedly approached her, his steps quick and an urgent demeanor.
"He is here, Madam"
he notified Eunice with a tone filled with urgency. Eunice's smile widened as she swiftly made her way to the living room where her gaze fell upon Nevaeh who has a troubled and anguished expression etched across his face, his eyes avoiding direct contact with hers.
Having a full understanding of the situations of the world, its complexities, and also what Nevaeh has been through. Eunice looked at Nevaeh with a mischievous smirk, her voice laced with a hint of amusement. "He finally let you go, huh?" She quipped.
Nevaeh's eyes widened in shock as he immediately focused his gaze on her. How could she possibly know? He had intended to share the news about Gabriel with her, but it appeared that she was already aware of everything. Confusion and curiosity flooded his mind, but he couldn't help but feel a tinge of admiration for her perceptiveness.
A mischievous grin slowly spread across Nevaeh's face, replacing his initial surprised look. He couldn't resist expressing his awe.
"You are one wonderful woman," he remarked, his voice filled with genuine appreciation.
"How did you find out?"
Eunice turned around and began walking away, deliberately ignoring his questions. Her demeanor suggested that it was something she wasn't quite ready to reveal. "It's a long story," she replied cryptically, her voice tinged with intrigue. "Just come with me". She added as she continued to walk away
Nevaeh's face twisted with confusion as he looked at Eunice, who seemed to be completely unfazed by the news that Gabriel was back. He couldn't understand how she could be so calm and unfazed in such a situation.
"Gabriel passed away and has been reincarnated as the Devil!" Nevaeh exclaimed.
" How can you be so calm?" His words reverberated through the living room drawing the attention of the maids and guards nearby including Diego who was lost in confusion as he tried to add things up.
Startled by the sudden outburst, Eunice halted in her tracks and swiftly turned around to face Nevaeh. A tinge of annoyance played on her face, her voice laced with a hint of exasperation.
"Even in situations like this, you can't rely on that pineapple you call a brain,' she retorted,
Nevaeh's confusion only deepened as he tried to grasp the meaning behind Eunice's cryptic statement. He stared at her intently, his eyes searching for answers within her gaze.
. "Gabby did not die," she revealed,
"He planned the whole thing. Our entire lives were meticulously orchestrated and controlled by one man. Gabriel is not the devil himself, but merely a pawn to the devil".
Nevaeh's confusion deepened as he struggled to comprehend Eunice's words. Diego, who stood nearby, shared in his confusion, unable to make sense of the conversation unfolding before him
Staring at Eunice, Nevaeh couldn't help but question if this was the same Eunice he had known all his life. His mind raced, wondering what had transpired during the and how Eunice had acquired this newfound knowledge. The Eunice he knew was skeptical and would never entertain the notions of a devil or a god. Nevaeh couldn't help but wonder, "What happened while I was gone? How does she know these things?"
