Lucien pulled her to her feet. "Come on, take it off." He turned around, just in case she was feeling shy. She hesitated before she started working her buttons. Moments later, she cast the shirt off, revealing a tightly fitted pair of brown stays. She crossed her hands over her chest protectively as she cleared her throat to get his attention. Lucien spun around. "You look nice," he said in a shaky, hoarse voice. She brushed past him and entered the water.
"I thought you couldn't swim," he called after her amidst laughter.
"Reasons why you should stop staring and enter the water," she retorted. She stopped moving when the water got to her stomach. Lucien swam to where she stood and took her hand. He led her deeper into the water and paused when the water reached her neck.
