"Thank you," she said and turned almost immediately to leave, but he grabbed her hand and held her in place. When she tried to yank her hand free, he only tightened his grip around her arm.
"At least wait for the show to be over. You will miss out on the lion tamer," he said as he tried to force a smile.
"This cannot wait, Draven. You can watch the lion tamer and tell me all about it later," she spoke hurriedly.
He released his hold on her arm. "I will come with you, just in case."
