"Levina. Can I ask you a question?" he asked with a serious look on his face.
"Yes, sure."
"You and Lucien," he paused, "are you still just friends?" he asked.
Levina glanced up at him, she had seen it coming but somehow the question still caught her off guard. "Yes, we are."
Even though he nodded, she could see that he did not believe her. She did not blame him though, she would not believe herself too if she were in his shoes. Her relationship with Lucien was complicated, it was beyond friendship, and she knew it. She could not put a name to it, and it was better that way.
"Lucien is set to marry Juvia, they've been friends from childhood. I don't know if he has mentioned this to you," Soren continued, trying to keep a neutral face.
"And Draven?" he asked.
"Draven?" she asked, surprised by the question. "I and Draven are just friends nothing more."
"Have you made that clear to him?"
"Yes, I have."
