Lucien patted Soren's shoulder; he felt moved by his concerns, and he knew without a shred of doubt that Soren meant every word he said. "Thank you," he said.
Soren stood to his feet, "You should get some rest. I need to go home and prepare for the last rite. I still have your blood all over me."
"I will see you there then." Lucien said, trying to stand up;
"I think you better sit this one out."
"Why? Because of the minor cut on my chest?"
Soren wanted to argue but decided against it. There was no use, Lucien would always do what he wants. "If you say so," he threw over his shoulder as he started to walk away.
