Later that night, alone in my dorm, I sat on the edge of my king sized bed, puling up my robe slipping from my shoulder. Drops of water still cascaded along my skin as I picked up a glass of red wine and gazed out at the starry sky forming. The liquid sent a burning sensation through my throat and stomach as I enriched myself in its flavour. The liquid swished in the glass as I chuckled to myself.
My mind drifted to the space depicted as completely white and the impressive and meticulous ways the mana seemed to be arranged in. Strips of it embedded with certain hues and symbols to I had never experienced in the game nor since coming to this world.
"What an interesting device..." I muttered to myself and stared at the watch on my wall.
The small hand just fell upon nine and the large aligned with the six. "Anytime now..." I mused to myself and then a gentle rattling came from the other side of the door. A light knock.
I slowly pushed of my bed and walked over to the door, sliding it open to see the person on the other side in an erotic black dress and leggings. Her lips quivered as her blue eyes moved to mine.
"Right on time. I guess you really want to get on my good side, don't you?" I snickered at her, her curling chestnut hair bouncing as she took a step forward and pushed me into the room, a dazzling shimmer in her eyes as her fingers smoothed past my lips.
The light from the corridor faded from my dark room as the door closed behind us and she pushed me onto my bed, straddling me with her tongue moving from my chest to my neck as she began to suck.
I ruffled her hair and she looked up, a quick peck to my lips as her cheeks became flushed. But this wasn't an innocent flush, but rather one full of power, like she was in control.
"That will be more than enough for today, don't you think?" I asked her, pushing her away and sitting up. She still rode my lap as I continued talking to her.
"There's some things I want you take care of me. Regardless of what I need from you though, I still think you'd want to hear this."
"What does my little Kaiser want now." She teased, pressing my cheek.
"As I'm sure you saw, I dealt with a little problem I had earlier." My head glanced over to the empty bed next to me and she nodded. "However it seems the roots are deep. It seems like mister Nate over there seemed to be part of a group currently trying to cause chaos in the Empire. I want you and your group to take care of them under my supervision. After all, I think they stay they could do harm to your business, Mafia boss Roselaine. You'd want to protect your territory, right?"
She paused for a second, pressing her head against my chest as her mind wandered. "I can agree to that proposal, but why do you want to supervise it?" She asked curiously.
"I want to confirm the kills as well as corner them in properly. As a lone person, I can't do that. But with your group, connections and familiarity with the city there should be no problem."
"A reasonable point. But where are those bastards located and when do you plan to take them on?" She asked, fully stepping away from me and standing before me.
"Apparently they've taken over the abandoned underground tunnels below the adventurers guild. As for when we strike...I have yet to decide. But I'd like to pursue this matter as soon as possible. For now, let's set the date for next weeks weekend. That fine?" I asked her a pointless question. She wouldn't be able to refute me.
"It's a date!" She lifted my chin and I swatted her hand away with a sigh. "How cold~! You invite a girl out here and treat her like shit. That's not very cool."
"Well sorry, but for now this is the best you'll get. I promise to take you out on a nicer outing a different time, however. Just tell me when you're free."
Surprised, she stepped back, her cheeks a rose tinge. "Sure..."
Followingly, she departed my room silently and headed to her dorm. Alone once more, I began to ponder about the artefact I had used today. "What kind of magic was that? It certainly doesn't fall under the usual six categories that's for certain. The game did only mention those attributes whilst in the game but the later villains always did have weird and unexplained powers...was this perhaps a shit game instead?"
The motes of mana that travelled across the white vacuum and formed runic chains thrummed a vibrant metal hue and rustled in the far distance as they continued to envelope the space.
"If there are different attributes to mana apart from the six, I wonder if that attribute possibly could have been mind magic? Mind magic and other types of magic...how interesting. But wait. Doesn't that mean that I evaluated the heroes power by the end of the game incorrectly? If he as the hero can wield all mana attributes and there's more than the original six...that means that his power will be greater than what I originally assumed."
My heart began to pound in my chest as adrenaline rushed through my veins. "I haven't hit the ceiling. There's more for me to conquer. I shouldn't have underestimated you, shitty hero!"
