- The inverted island (Dimension 76-I)
- The Bermuda triangle (Dimension 54-I)
- Idanre hills (Dimension 54-I)
- Mt Shirakumonomine (Dimension 54-I)
"So, what do we know about these four places?" I asked.
"Oh, you picked three of my suggestions," David smiled triumphantly. "First, we have the inverted island. From what we were able to gather, that's where the demigod of chaos ascended from. His ascension caused an imbalance in the natural laws, giving birth to what we now know as the inverted island."
I nodded. I remembered reading something about that island in a book. Even though the surface of the island was underwater, not a single drop of water ever touched it. It was like there was an invisible dome preventing the water around from entering and also keeping air in. Just to be clear, no one knows where the air comes from. There have been different speculations about it, some saying the island absorbs oxygen from the water around it, others saying the oxygen is absorbed from the bottom of the island, which was above water. Shaking my head to get rid of my thoughts, I signaled David to continue.
"We also have Mt. Shirakumonomine. According to the Japanese, it was said to be a place where gods descended," he said, then smiled awkwardly. "That's all I have about it."
I shook my head in amazement. Never underestimate the bias of an anime fan. I signaled him to continue again.
"The last but not the least, from my home country, we have Idanre Hills. If you ignore whatever the locals say and read the books, it was said that the ancestor of the bigfoot descended there in search of something when he was on the brink of becoming a supreme god," he said, puffing out his chest proudly.
I remembered going there once with David when we were younger. The footprints were strange. Regardless of your gender or size, the prints would always match the shape of your foot. In the past, the locals used it as a test to determine if one was a witch. They said it was the footprints of their first king, Abogun. Only the foot of a witch would fail to match the footprints.
I turned to Diana, signaling her to begin her explanation. I felt like THE BOSS now.
"Wipe that silly smile off your face," she said.
"But my expression hasn't changed," I said, touching my face to confirm.
"Your facial expression hasn't, but I can imagine you smiling stupidly within, thinking yourself as THE BOSS," she said scornfully.
DAMN!
"How do you know that?" I asked, then my eyes widened. "Do you..."
"No, I don't have mind-reading magic."
I sighed in relief and signaled her to begin.
"The Bermuda Triangle, from what I was able to gather, was created from the residual anger and hatred of a sea god who met his end there."
"Hmmm," I raised an eyebrow. "Is that all?" I asked.
"Yes, that's all," she replied.
"How is a plant meant to survive in that location, and how are we meant to get there?" I asked, confused.
"The soul-stabilizing flowers have the ability to grow anywhere as long as the place has residual divinity. The Bermuda Triangle doesn't just have residual divinity, the corpse of the god is still there, encased in an unbreakable and immovable ice coffin. As for the second question, you don't need to go there yourself. You can submit a mission to the Mercenaries' Guild or some private institutions to do it for you."
"I see," I nodded.
"So, where are we going first?" Daniel asked.
"Isn't it obvious? It's the inverted island. That place literally screams 'come check me, I have the flowers you seek'," I laughed.
"Alright then, we'll meet here again tomorrow, and then we shall set off," Diana said and began walking away.
"Ahh, how can one be so proud when they lack a crucial aspect?" David sighed looking upwards like an old man giving after giving words of wisdom.
*FLASH! BAM! BAM!! BOOM!!!*

[ A LITTLE PEEK]
[Demigod Damian's perspective]
"I never wanted this to happen, brother, but you leave me no choice," Chaos said as he raised his hand to finish me off.
*FLASH!*
His hand was grabbed, and a cold voice sounded from the perpetrator.
"What are you doing?" The voice was completely void of emotions. It had a certain feel to it that hearing the voice could make most people pass out in fear.
"Do not interfere, big brother."
"Hey Damien, I told you to wait for me. You shouldn't make a lady run like that, you know," another voice sounded.
"Big sister," Chaos mumbled.
"Oh, so you still think of me as your big sister? Then can you explain what you are doing?" She asked.
"It doesn't concern you," he said.
"Oh, but it does," the woman chuckled. "The person you're trying to kill there is our main body. Could you give your big sister some face and let him go?" she said.
