Kevin is moving through the different doors of the sun goddess temple as he is living here all his life... and we already opened 50 or so doors!
The real creepy thing is that all doors and rooms look exactly the same as well as the interiors, I out of boredom started to measure every room we past along with the feeling of the room.
"We soon will arrive on the designated place"
"When should I expect that soon to occur?"
"Please stay quiet and measure the rooms as much as possible"
Kevin also is frustrated or only annoyed by me questioning his goddess sanity, he now moves faster through these countless doors.
30 minutes and 200 doors later we finally see a golden shining door, radiate a lot of heat around it.
"Goddess I brought him and can prove his qualifications as long as you allow him to demonstrate it"
He got down on one knee and gushed out this crap, at the same time is he releasing his holy energy.

The door slam open and a small fire ball is between the door and me, threatening heat starts to radiate around it moreover burning my skin.
'Okay that is weird'
"Goddess he doesn't believe in gods existing so please grant mercy on that young lamp"
The fire ball retreated back in the door and creates a bright light blinding me for a bit.
"So the goddess is angry because I called you insane?"

"Oh then nevermind lets go inside"

I dashed in the opening of the door without him, emerging immediately at the dungeon.
"Hey you Ba-"
The Dungeon starts to pull me and Kevin in the dungeon, my cosmic energy and his holy energy are forced out of our bodies.
'If it continues like that!'
"Hey do you have any special skills or abillities to get us out of the situation?!"
I stare at him with a confused mind, we are in their goddess domain shouldn't she help you.
the suction got so strong and fast that my world spins the next second, after that everything felt so weak in my body...
"You are finally here, nephew of the strongest Astral person-"
This holy and warm voice was alluring along with being the perfect tone to call her mommy respectfully... the last part is cut off my memories or I pass out before she could finish speaking.
at the day of the end of the tournament
"Hey Ben I need to talk to you"
Kevin the orange haired boy from the accident of Nexus attack, his serious tone in his voice feels weird to hear but I couldn't care less.
"I know where the lost Astral sword is a-"

I summoned my sword and point it right at his neck, no one knows that my ancestor lost it nor the whereabouts of it.

My cosmic mana shoots out of my body, listening to my command to pressure him.
He buckle to his knees moreover starts to breathe roughly however his eyes are almost hollow of any kind of emotion or pain... it is like I would look at a being transcending common senses and laws.
"Who are you?"
Kevin or should I say the person in possession of him stood up like my pressure is childs play.
"Stop your useless attempts to get answers"
as soon as she said that everything felt foreign to me, the walls weren't the same walls as before moreover was the ground hot to touch not cold like before. What made me even more certain was the opening, the light shining in was so bright and heated up the floor to melt.

My eyebrows twitched at her remark, the qualifications to know the answers... how don't I have them?

the being didn't let me time to ask or say anything despite her talking to me like we are equals. the eyes hollow of anything but emitted heat hotter than the sun.

As I opened my eyes again while looking around myself covered in sweat. Kevin didn't understand my action and explained me how his goddess knew it.
'His goddess huh... what a terrifying woman'
I didn't listen further and close my eyes, accepting to whatever he leads me into.
back at the present
I opened my eyes and tried to push myself up. I failed and lay down on the ground, waiting for my mana to recover.
"This goddess planned this from the start!"
I vented my anger a bit by accusing the goddess however that was short lived.
"Krrek" "Krrek" "KHKHKHK"
'Goblins? how are goblins exi-'
My brain stopped for a second seeing a straight hallway full of all kind of monsters, at the end of it can I feel the Astral sword connecting with me.
'This fricking god, I will make her pay for it!'
The monster attacked me all at the same time and if that isn't bad enough, I am not even allowed to use my weapon from my space ring.

Ben woke up after a day and Kevin woke up a few hours later than Ben did.
Both are slaughtering an huge horde of monsters of all kinds to get their weapons.
"He acted like you did in the past so of course I need to remind him"
Ben uses the greatsword of an Orc to slaughter more monsters, meanwhile Kevin grabbed the shield of the Horklins and the longsword of the skeletons to slaughter them.
"Well we had a wild past but you weren't erased from the past multiple times"
Ben uses [All in one] to catch his breath before jumping back in the horde of monsters, losing a bit of their original amount however Ben lost more mana in the move.
"Yes, that is why I am a god in the first place and our.... tried to transcend too but was killed by that damn d-"
^Boom^
Kevin used a technique out of the holy sun art along with his skill [Shield dash] causing a small explosion.
"Don't get too angry about her"
Ben used orc greatsword broke, resulting in him getting pushed back plus getting cuts all over his body. He found two templar swords on the ground, grabbing them whilde dodging the onslaught of attacks.
He activated the skills [Gifted Dual Swordsman] and [Swordpath vision] to kill the monsters with more efficiency and low mana usage. The skill [vulnerability of creations] is also activated by him, causing his body to revolt against the enormous amount of power it needs to hold.
"Why are you so cold to you-"
Kevin uses the holy sun art along with his skill [Paladin of the sun] to save some mana moreover practising the holy sun art with more efficiency.
"I am not cold to her since I knew as soon as she was born how she will die"
Bens body breaks slowly down and holds it self only because he has the cosmic energy unlocking some of his phisques unique abilities, his mana is filled faster than it is used despite these huge burdens he puts on himself.
"You knew from the beginning how she will die?"
Kevin was beyond exhaustion and only hold himself fighting against the monster with his sheer fighting spirit along with his iron will. He used the holy sun art more efficient and precise, every strike of his sword killed atleast ten monsters.
"Yes and it didn't matter how much I tried to change it"
Ben and Kevin both finally reached the end however didn't slaughter even half of this monster horde. Both grab the artifacts shown in front of them respectively and feel their energy returning to their body after almost collapsing.
"Then why didn't you tell-"
^BOOM^ ^Crack^ ^Whoosh^ ^BOOM^
Tentacles of pure darkness clashed against three places of the dungeon, forcing the bright light from the sun to clash with the dárkness of the void.
"This little troublemaker is back"
The warm and holy voice added to her last sentence feeling the energy of the shadows trying to become the darkness, the feminine alluring voice shattered one tentacle.
"He would have been on your level if-"
"Yeah yeah i know don't lecture me about the old times"
The goddess of the sun spoke to the soul of a person but it dissappeared before he could manifest the real form of his soul.
The two slaughtered all monsters in two days, breathing heavily and uneven. They both are transported out of the dungeon without a pause or anything, immediately after the last monster died.
"If he fully returned then I am afraid I need to descend to earth... and kill the Shadow Lord"
