Alan and Benjamin entered the Dungeon named Valley of lightning, the dungeon is rumored to produce more lightning and destruction than creation can recover.
As the name suggests it is a valley where lightning hits everything and anything.
It is a dangerous dungeon for anyone below Rank C+ apart from people who have the lightning affinity.
Benjamin feels refreshed by the Mana in the dungeon, it feels so light and easy to control besides giving him the feeling of all mighty power.
Alan feels oppressed by the Mana alone despite him having an Either core, the more advanced Version of Mana As well as being closer to the original energy Aether.
The valley looks massive from where they stand, at the edge of it, while the lightning starts changing its course to hit Alan.

Lightning collided against each other, trying to devour the opponent, however a stalemate in power caused both of them to explode.

Benjamin is enhancing his vision with mana moreover uses the lightning to look in the valley, the deep darkness in it that consumes the lightning makes him take a step back.

Alan is channeling all the lightnings towards his greatsword and the dual blades from Benjamin.
Alan hides beneath them to not get cooked like a chicken.

Alans face turns to the right seeing a huge bird with lightning dancing around it. His senses feel a huge presence on his left side.
The two monster are closing the distance between them in a rapid pace.

Benjamin shouted his name, his lightning gently wrapping around Alans waist.

Alan feels that these two would ignore them but it is already to late, as Benjamin drags him down the valley.
The darkness overwhelmed them at the same time are they drawn to it like two moths to the light.

The Bird with its majestic body, four wings with beautiful blue feather and crystal white eyes.
It released a lot of lightning blinding Alan and Benjamin, it pushes the darkness deeper in the valley.
Alan and Benjamin feel rough hands grabbing both of them as well as coating them with his mana.
"These two children are insane!"
A rough and deep voice echoed across the entire valley, bursting their eardrums by accident.
Both felt lethargic and tried to overcome it by biting their tongue.
"That is useless"
Somehow they could still a calm deep voice before a strange light blinded them.

A feminine voice with a tone of warmth, questioned the one guy on the throne. He seems exhausted to a point where you wonder how he is still alive.
The man on the throne with his two irises, one blue and the other red, with yellow lines showing the end of one iris. He wears a big black coat moreover are his cyan boots mysteriously losing color.
The man on the throne looks at the two children, his blue hair shines like a star behind the crown he is wearing.
"These two can't do anything against the deep darkness how-"
"You idiot!"
"Are you crazy!?"
The rough manly and the feminine voice snapped back against the man on the throne before he could finish his speaking.
Alan finds it hard to understand the situation because he feels light headed furthermore has a loud beep tone on his ears, that doesn't go away.
He is glancing at the surroundings, unsure if he even can concentrate his eyes to see something. He released unconsciously his azure blue fire, it travels through the entire room moreover makes the beings who captured them visible to him.

"So you are already awake"
the man on the throne looks at the small children, both so small for him to even understand how such creatures still exist. He touches the azure blue fire and his pale skin regains a bit of color furthermore giving him a bit of weight back.
"You can use the fire of my race despite being a phoenix chick"
Alan tries to see the mans face however these three giants, who are all atleast 30 metres tall, stare at him similiar how a researcher stares at his labor rats.
"We can use his fire to heal you!"
The feminine voice cheerfully echoed through the entire room, her excitement alone created lightning.
"No we can't"
The rough voice crushed all her hope in the next second, his cyan eyes are now visible to Alan. The eyes seem to inspect him for any qualities, he even created a small cage of lightning in front of Alan, which isn't visible to the naked eye.
Alan can see the cage with his phoenix eyes however in his condition right now... it is a wonder he even woke up.
"See, that child has no qualities for becoming his successor"
The eyes vanish back in the shadows, leaving Alan to watch nothing than complete darkness.

The entire room trembled from his voice alone, lightning brighter than any light illuminated the room. His hair shines even brighter together with the crown on his head.
Alan couldn't see the crown except that it is white with two gems on the front, blue and red.

Alan watches an overwhelming amount of blood leaking from somewhere out of the shadow, it looks like a small waterfall ready to sweep them away.
'Weapon creation'
Alans thoughts still wanted to create the weapons for both him and Benjamin, the weapons emerged from his space ring and his tattoo that stores his created weapons.
The weapons greedily absorbed his blood especially the greatsword, the flow of blood changed and caused a vortex.
The overwhelming amount of blood is absorbed by the three swords, protecting their respective owners as well as strengthening themself.
The three beings watched all that happening, meanwhile is Benjamin waking up to this scene of blood getting absorbed in his sword.
The lightning energy is so much stronger he could muster right now, he watches how the lightning gathers and flows through every corner of his two swords.
"Alan how can you manipulate lightni- Alan are you okay?!"
Benjamin finally glanced to Alan who is also proetcted by his greatsword however there the lightning and fire fights for the right to exist.
'Wait how did it change?'
The fire and lightning suddenly flowed under the control of a new fire, the new fire is invisible for Benjamin to see but he knows that it exists.
Alan is still only awake but can't register anything that happens around him, it feels like he is thrown in truck full of oil. He feels hot and doesn't get any air, his body feels like tearing itself apart by the heat.
He is falling even deeper in the endless darkness, slowly forgetting why he entered the dungeon, why he feels so much fear... when all of that doesn't matter anymore.
The darkness already started to consume Alans mind slowly raching his subconsciousness, it creeps up his body moreover is it dragging him in the ground bit by bit.
"ALAN!!"
Benjamin is noticing Alans legs slowly vanishing in the floor and starts to panic, he promised Mi Sang Hee and Rica that both of them return without any inuries.
"This child has all the qualities to become your successor"
Benjamin heared the voice and disregarded his praise for him, he gathers lightning to a density he hasn't used until now.

However the lightning didn't leave his palm, he pushed the mana with all his might yet... it is stuck to his hand.

The one on the throne started to gather all his energy back to his body, the pure white lightnings with a slight trace of blue in them dissolved his body into small particles. These particles are moving towards the two shortswords, a part of his soul with his old memories as a king along with 1/4 of his mana enters the greatsword.
"I greet the Future king of the phoenixes"
HIs calm voice entered Alans head, snapping him out of his vegetative state.
The rest entered the two shortswords, changing their form furthermore enhancing its power, durability, efficiency moreover using his own body to make them the perfect blades for Benjamin.
Benjamin feels that a connection to his two shortswords is created along with the experiences and powers to enter the swords.
The entire room which was covered in darkness is for the first time freed of any darkness, revealing the beauty of an old throne room.
The golden chandeliers above them sparkled in new splendor, the white pillar with a hint of blue in them shine like diamonds, the red carpet stretched up to the throne, the silver walls together with golden and cold iron lines that create a mural telling the story of a qilins kingdom of peace.
The people look happy under the leadership of the qilin but a bird and a wyrm always killed his people, the qilin fought against the two and defeated them with his white lightning brighter than any star.
The world known peace and with his two new companions the kingdom has known peace until... a human coated by darkness and consumed by his own rage attacked them.
The mural stopped at that part as shadow still cover the remaining part.
The throne is out of wood that attracts lightning, the feeling of nature from it overwhelmed the luxurious interior of the room completely.
Alan and Benjamin are watching the swords of them leaving their hand.

The greatsword cut their chest open while the two short swords pierce both their hearts. The greatsword absorbed something from them and returned to Alan, who activated his phoenix eyes to see what kind of names these three weapons have.
The phoenix eyes are showing him two fitting names for their weapons. The greatsword of the future king of the phoenix has the name Usurper of Kings, the dual blades of the man blessed by lightning has the name Qilins Double Blades.
"You two-"
Now that these two can see the entire room, the giant bird and the wyrm bloodlust pressured them.
"DARE TO TAKE-"
The entire room quakes under the mana they emit, crushing Alan and Benjamin entirely beneath it.
"OUR QUALIFICATIONS TO EVOLVE!"
Feathers looking like spears filled with lighting emerges right before their eyes. A huge tail covered in lightning is emerging at their peripheral vision.
