Henry chuckled, "Take it easy, kid. Don't get too big for your britches."
Alicia shot back with a soft laugh, "You know, I could have other choices if I wanted. It's just that your son really likes me, that's why I'm still around. If I didn't have as much patience, things wouldn't be the same. If I didn't care for him after three years, why would I bother with you?"
With that, she got up, looking down at Henry, saying, "When I decide to move on, you may have to wait for a lifetime for the bottle to get off. So, you better stick to your own business and stop messing with my mom. Or else, I can fight dirty too."
She said this with a smile, her voice sweet, yet it was pretty scary. Henry felt a sharp pain in his left hand. It was all in his head.
Worried about what Alicia might do next, he got up without a word and left. On the outside, he seemed calm, but inside, he was freaking out.
