"Mr. Hanson's here!" A quick-eyed employee announced. He rushed over and politely opened the glass door for him.
Chuck walked in, carrying an old-fashioned mahogany box. Marlon rubbed his beard and happily welcomed him, "Chuck, what prized possession do you need fixed today?"
Chuck casually held up the box and said with a slight grin, "Our family's history book. It's pretty beat up, so I've come to have Alicia fix it. She's the only one I trust with it."
Hearing this, Alicia stepped forward, took the box from him, and opened it. She moved to the side and started examining it.
Marlon was always excited when someone complimented his apprentice, even though he hadn't taught her ancient book and painting restoration himself. He proudly added, "That's right, Alicia is amazing at fixing old books and paintings. She's so skilled at such a young age; I don't know how we older folks can keep up!"
