Fifteen hours later, Alicia and Haley stepped off the plane, where someone was waiting at the airport to pick them up. They hopped into a car and after a bumpy ride, arrived at Dragon Village, nestled among the mountains. The ancient tomb was located at the foot of a mountain behind the village called Dragon Mountain. Surrounded by a cluster of mountains, Dragon Mountain boasted a vast lake in front of it.
Despite its remoteness, the location was a prime spot with top-notch scenery.
Guided by a receptionist, Alicia and Haley ventured towards the ancient tomb near Dragon Mountain. The area was practically deserted, sparsely populated, and the tomb had already been halfway excavated.
The head of the archaeological team, a professor from the most distinguished local university, was Professor Guh. He and his team eagerly approached to welcome Alicia.
