" You too stand where you are don't come closer " Katherine stretched out her hand to create distance between them.
" really? " he smirked oddly. " what happen to you calling me your savior " he said ceasing on his step, with an amused expression . "its good you now understand I am a monster not your savior"
" you saved me once from those men, and I I think from the attack also, but you are my first nightmare " Katherine pointed out.
" hmm I know you had a nightmare that day, I sucked your blood " he stated and the hair on her skin stood. This man was indeed a crazy. " I sucked your blood to the last drop is that it??" he said. That moment there was a knock in the door and Katherine moved to open it.
" Katherine winters meet me at my room tonight " he pronounced. instead of her going to open the door, he turned around and walked to open it. Katherine saw him exchanging words with his mother before walking out. Katherine started to get nervous, how was she supposed to meet him when she will have to be sticking around Mrs Aubrey.
"He approved of you, so lucky " Aubrey said. she went to lay on her bed. " lay me get some sleep" she closed her eyes and for a moment Katherine thought she had slept off, not until she heard her say. " what are you standing there for, massage my foot "
Katherine stayed in the room massaging her foot while the woman continued sleeping. Katherine didn't complain of that because she was being paid not to talk of she applied for the job herself.
A knock was heard in the door and Katherine opened it skeptically. She saw one of the servants standing at the door. "Dinner is ready, you have to call Mrs Aubrey down now " he said before leaving. Katherine wondered how she would wake the woman from sleep but she had to. Katherine shook the woman while calling her and after minutes, he eyes fluttered open. " is thus why I employed you to be a disturbance to me in my sleep" she scolded.
" No madam, I was told to wake you, dinner is ready" Katherine said to her.
During the dinner, Katherine stood behind Mrs Aubrey as she ate along with the other members of their family. with their food served they had glasses of blood each. seeing that it made her feel like vomiting and she did.
Katherine covered her mouth before running to the servant restroom. when she came back she was asked by Mrs Aubrey if she was alright and it created attention as everyone in the dining looked at her, including she lord who was present in the table. Mrs Aubrey introduced her already.
" I am madam " Katherine said straightening up.
" Am I missing something or are you pregnant? " with the question coming from the woman she felt embarrassed.
" Aubrey why don't you get a pregnancy test on her tomorrow, it can solve the matter." Mr Augustus proposed.
" you better not be " Aubrey said before everyone went back to eating. she looked at the direction of the lord and their eyes made contact. he gave her a mocking smile. And she suspected it was because of the pregnancy. How could she pregnant when she haven't done anything.
After the dinner, Katherine followed lady Aubrey to her room. she looked at the time, before going to prepare lady Aubrey a bathing warm water. To her horror lady Aubrey told her, she was going to be assisting her in her bath.
Katherine gave the lady company and it looked like the lady wasn't letting her go. And Sirius had told her to meet him this night. Mr. Augustus walked into the room and she bowed to them leaving.
