The Kaiju were strong to the brim and if they were to put two with two, both the Kaiju and its rider were perfectly matched against Bolu; each with their advantages. While the rider had a longer range due to the length of his weapon and a high damage rate and the Kaiju had an advantage in height and weight, Bolu had speed durability and power.
Bolu zigzagged in full speed, narrowly missing the great stomp of the Kaiju and the heavy slash of the rider. He slid to stop himself from moving further as he was already behind the rider and in the perfect place to strike, but upon stopping the rider did a three hundred and sixty turn that took him off. He had no time to duck of move back or block so he closed his eyes and did the most stupidest thing he had ever done in his life; he caught the large sword with his bare hand which to his surprise worked a feat if you consider the fact that he had not been thrown off or lost his hand due to the extreme force of the swing.
He was pushed back a bit and before he could phantom how he was a blue to catch the blade, he felt a large shadow cast above him and the with a kick that he strong kick against the huge sword, he was able to separate himself from the rider and escape being crushed by the Kaiju.
Fighting both was impossible even now that he had become an S rank hunter, and no matter how he tried he just couldn't separate them both so that he could tackle them one at a time. They were also not giving him time to think or flee, not that he wanted to flee or anything but the point was that he had no time to plan things out so he had to mostly rely on his instinct and quick judgement.
Holding tightly to his sword he braced for the rider's next impact, but it never came. instead both the Kaiju and the rider had ceased their attacks and as the Kaiju pawed the ground like a dog with its hind leg a shrilly sound came out from the rider's mouth.
It was a disgusting voice that sounded like when a radio channels was being changed constantly and in a high pitch too. After a while it suddenly tuned of and the next thing Bolu heard totally blew his mind.
A Kaiju speaking in human language.
The Kaiju grinned and said slowly as though it was its first time speaking in that language.
"You look like a very strong fighter, human." The Kaiju rider sneered.
"That's because I am." Bolu replied.
"True." The rider shrugged. " I thought you were just a weakling that I could easily kill but now I see that I was gravely mistaken."
Bolu arched a brow. What the hell was this thing talking about.
"Truth be told." continued the rider. "I have been searching for a warrior that can last longer in a fight and entertain me, but now I have to part so I'll end this quickly before any reinforcements arrive for you." Saying that the rider took hold of his huge sword and gave it a tug.
Bolu thought it was intending to break the weapon but was once again astounded over the fact that the rider's weapon was a huge sharp sword that had been sheathed the entire time, and to be honest knowing now made all the color in face drain away.
"Now tell me." The rider started as he brandished the huge glinting sword with ease.
" How do you want to die, human warrior?"
