For the first time in all his years of working and relating with people, Sebastian felt ashamed and disappointed in himself. From the way Stella spoke to him with such fluency and authority, he instantly knew that he had messed with the wrong lady.
Feeling the urgency to write his wrong, he did something that he had never done to any of his male workers, talk more of a female. He swallowed his expensive pride and apologize to Stella to the amazement of his old friend Alfred.
"Please accept my humble apologies, Stella. I made a mistake and I regret my unprofessional comment."
"Saying you are sorry is medicine after death." Adrian fired at Sebastian. "Realizing your mistake would not save you from the consequences of your ridiculous action."
"Adrian, please, I'm fine with his apology." Stella came to Sebastian's defence, thereby rendering him speechless.
Even Alfred was amazed and impressed by Stella's willingness to save Sebastian from trouble.
