Back at the Dawson mansion, the atmosphere was tense and frigid. Adrian's parents, alongside his grandparents, his aunt and his cousins, were all seated in the living room waiting patiently for him to arrive.

Mina found it difficult to believe that her most cherished grandson would dare disobey her after all she had done to favour him in the past.
