After a few hours of reconciliation, bonding and a steamy shower romance that left both Adrian and Abigail breathless, the two lovebirds stepped out of the room looking refreshed and ready to take on the world.
"Do you have any idea why Alex has been gloomy?" Abigail asked Adrian quietly as the boat entered the main room where Alex was seated.
"Yes, I do. But I think it's best he tells you by himself." Adrian replied.
"Oh...Kay!" Abigail drawled, giving Adrian a suspicious look. "I just hope it's nothing serious."
"Hmmm..." Adrian doesn't want to imagine Abigail's reaction when she finally discovers her blood relationship with Alex. If it were possible, he would have preferred that this storm would blow over them. Sadly Alex's discovery was a necessary evil that must complete its circle of chaos.
"Abby, I want you to know that no matter what happens, Alex and I love you. We will always stand by you and protect you, okay."
