Adrian found it difficult to believe that Alex was making a move on Stella in his presence even after he had indirectly stated his interest in her. He was expecting Alex to back off and look for another girl to charm.
However, to Adrian's surprise and disgust, Alex didn't only ask Stella out in his presence but also dared to make a mockery of him.
This enraged Adrian to his bone marrow that he wished Alex's head was a tiny bug so that he could squash it underfoot.
'This fool thinks he can get Stella from me.' Adrian's veins pumped with fury as he watched Alex kiss the back of Stella's hand while hoping to strike a cord of passion in her.
'I'm going to show him the reason why he would always remain second fiddle to me.' Adrian vowed.
