A dean. An intriguing detail, and one Elara had not mentioned. Saligo took a moment to study Roderick more closely. The man seemed earnest enough, but there was a layer of mystery wrapped around him like a cloak. Yet, Saligo had learned through the years that the most dangerous predators often wore the most benign masks. He decided to tread with caution.
"Dean Roderick," he began, his tone guarded but respectful. "It's a pleasure meeting you." He said with a small bow. "Would it be correct to assume you are aware of why I'm here?" He asked a little curious to see how much Elara had told him.
Roderick nodded. "You are considering accepting the the teaching post for Alchemy professor, correct?" Saligo nodded back.
