Vera, imbued with the Sword Master's Sense skill, showcased her lightning-quick reflexes as well as being able to predict enemy movement, she sprang into action, issuing a timely warning to Augustus, "Block their attack!"

Augustus, his senses heightened by Vera's alert, instinctively raised his sword, creating a resounding clang as his blade clashed with the skeletal arm.

Observing the scene, Augustus couldn't help but ponder, "The Dawn Blade is firmly gripped by its skeletal hand, yet it fails to cut through the bone, not even a fraction."

Trapped within the bony grip of one skeletal arm, with the other arm poised to strike his vulnerable side, Augustus found himself compelled to relinquish the Dawn Blade. The impending assault demanded swift evasion, for the skeletal grip proved overpowering, leaving him no choice.

The sword then reappeared in his hand as he managed to create enough distance from the skeleton.
