Chapter 1 - An Emptied Tomb

An archaeologist and his team discovered a tomb dating back to 700,000 years ago. They opened the tomb after 3 months of work and discovered treasures and items from that era. The archaeologist's name was Kappa Hoshikage, a well known archaeologist with a lot of achievements. He is known for retrieving almost half of the top western region of the country's artifact.

This tomb was his oldest find yet, it was filled with gold, weapons from that era and a lot of ancient magic texts. Commonly, the tomb had the graves of the most powerful warriors, wizards, kings, queens and blacksmiths (The graves of blacksmiths surprised kappa). After a day or two of translating the texts, they figured out that the tomb was called "Tomb Of Legends".

It took an additional two months to empty out most parts of the tomb before getting to a gate that was about 12 meters tall and 20 meters wide. It was made of *Andurite (A very strong material used to make weapons that can possess magic. It was more common in that era and hard to find now.) and several magic crystals. Each crystal had a different type of magic embedded in them and were placed in an order. Lightning, Light, Fire, Dark, and Ice . This order was repeated 8 times and then at the bottom of the gate each crystal was separated by small columns.

One of Kappa's team found an inscription and a writing on the gate. The inscription was a magic circle that they've never seen before (Magic circles were different and more powerful 700,000 years ago than the present day.) And the writing was not in any language they have ever encountered. A member of his team named Jeff Dorma told kappa that he could look through some ancient texts they've previously collected to decipher the words and the magic circle.

Kappa waited for two days and there were no results, so he let his curiosity get the better of him. He proceeded to tinker with the gate to find a way to open it. Day after day he'd return to the gate to see if he could open there was a way or clue on how to open it but yo no avail.

After weeks of research, Jeff found what he was looking for, he finally translated the text and the magic circle. As he landed the chopper, there was a loud bang from the tomb. Jeff knew that he was too late. Kappa already opened the gate by infusing his magic fire into the ice magic crystal in order to make it unstable. Doing that made the order incorrect which made the gate to open.

All the demons, Spirits and Souls trapped were released all at once and rushed towards him tearing him apart. They all got out of the tomb and flew to different directions. All the members of Kappa's team including Jeff ran for their vehicles and got out of the area. Jeff went to Kappa's house and told his wife what happened, she took her four daughters (a set of twins) hurried to the site in order to find her husband. She left her daughters with Jeff and went in. Kappa's wife Jocelyn was versed in martial arts, multiple attack magic and enhancement magic, so she was ready for whatever dangers she could meet.

Jocelyn walked down the silent tomb until she got to the gate where she saw a young boy bound by chains imbued with magic holding what was left of her husband. She cried and hugged the remains of her husband as the boy just watched, not saying a word. She buried Kappa in the tomb and left with the boy.

All these events were 5 years ago.
