Chapter 7 - This world!

wooden gates opened wide, and Aryan stepped out of it with a serious expression on his face.

Karl and Alan looked at him, it had been a few hours since Aryan left and both of them were drunk past the limits, probably waiting for him.

"Big brother Karl..." Aryan said, looking at both of them.

Both of them looked up to him, stunned and slightly scared.

"Did he do it?" Alan asked in a soft voice, "I don't know...he still kinda looks gloomy." Karl responded, hushing.

"BIG BRO KARL!" Aryan almost shouted again, standing on the stair fence, "This world is fucking amazing!!" He shouted like a madman and started laughing.

"HAHAHAHA That's my brother!" Karl too started to laugh out loud.

"That sure your brother.." Alan commented, looking at both loudmouths.

Aryan slid down the stair fence and leached Karl down the hallway like he was the happiest person on earth.

"Karl..I don't know how to thank you enough.." He said, looking directly into his eyes.

"It is only thanks to you that I have obtained such enlightenment about this world." He said.

Alan frowned, feeling a little weirded out, "I guess, you kinda feel that in first time."

"Brother, it is only thanks to you that I have escaped that prison realm, and now, I am in a fantasy world," Aryan said, sitting his back against the sofa.

Karl cheered with another cup of red wine, "I knew it. After having a taste of chicks, you forget about book stuff."

Aryan listened, but he was way too occupied in his thoughts, blabbering nonsense, "Now that I truly know about this world, I feel reborn."

"This. This is the life, I always wanted to have."

"The world I always admired."

"I feel truly reborn..."

"Brother, I have found my goal in life. I will learn magic, become strong af, and kill the demon king." Aryan said, with a determined expression on his face.

With the knowledge of the world he had, he didn't need any sleep or rest. All he wanted to do was learn magic as fast as possible.

"Alright then, brother. I respect your dream, that's why I will wait for you in the royal castle." Karl said, standing up.

He looked at Aryan, staring deep into his eyes, his expression suddenly became serious and his voice, deep. "Fun and games are all over now. If you want to aid me, get stronger, as quick as you can."

This sudden change came as a shock to him but he didn't bother. Alan just looked at him with a slight smile on his face.

After a small discussion of a few minutes, Aryan separated from Karl. Their holiday was over, and Karl had to go back on the mission.

Aryan received a total of 20 silver coins as a gift for starters before he left for the city again.

From the knowledge he had collected, this world used to be a peaceful place. But a hundred years ago, an alien species called demons began to invade the world and destroy everything.

Cultivators in this world fought back, but their strengths weren't able to match the demons. Humanity was on the brink of destruction when gods intervened to help humans.

Majestic towers descended from the sky. It offered people magic and powers, against passing a trail.

With the help of this tool, humans were now stronger than before, facing the demon army and conquering the whole earth.

This was when the demon king cast a spell, unknown what it was or how it worked. But it said that the destruction was so strong that five emperors were forced to sign a peace treaty with demons.

A normal tragic story of all fantasy worlds.

Aryan couldn't worry the least about that, what he was interested in, was magic and evolution.

By passing dungeon trails and evolving, not only humans could increase their strength, but also evolve their lifespan to immortality. This is what Aryan planned to reach, not that he wanted to be immortal, but there was nothing wrong in playing real-life RPG games.

Aryan went to his room, first. He recalled he needed some information from the book, also about his inherited skills.

After an hour or so, Aryan found himself standing before the entrance of the dungeon. Clad in an old T-shirt and jeans, he carried a simple leather bag on his back. His gaze locked onto the colossal white tower that stretched as high as the eye could see.

"Enter your identification here and pay 12 copper coins at the next counter," a voice instructed. Aryan did as instructed, and a ding sound resounded in his wristband.

Aryan took a glance at the small projection screen as he moved forward.

The wristband was yet another part of technology. It was directly linked with the host's crest and health. The band could show one's stat points and energy levels he needed to level up.

"Now then, time to smack some rats," he said as he entered a huge cylindrical architecture made of some kind of stone with rune patterns engraved all over it.

For one to level up, he needed to absorb the magical energy from magic crystals and slowly go through stages of evolution.

To make it simpler, each evolution was divided into 10 stages, aka 10 levels. After reaching the 10th level, an adventurer can evolve further.

As he entered the dungeon, he felt like there was a completely new world in front of him: clear blue sky, brown soil path, and a huge endless grassland. It felt like he had entered a whole new world. He decided to follow what the guide said as he moved towards a certain area in the grass.

As he walked deeper into the grassland, he felt the abnormality in the size of the grass.

Foreword from the point he was standing on, 3ft tall green grass danced in the wind. Aryan was already far from the point of human interaction, as adventurers barely chose to hunt on the 1st floor.

He stood there, in the middle of the grass.

Calm, but attentive, to perceiving his surroundings.

Suddenly, the grass behind him moved. He turned back, to see some movements.

This was the time, he knew, his first hunt in the adventurer life just began.
