"Looks like we cleared the fourth floor," Aryan said, assuming from the notification sounding from his wristband.
"Good guess," Drake said, walking towards Aryan as if there wasn't even a tinge of energy left in his body.
"Wow, you are fast, bro! I didn't even see you coming." Aryan tried to crack a blind joke to change the gloomy atmosphere.
"Hahahahaha, nice joke." Drake laughed slowly and lazily, which normal people definitely wouldn't call a laugh.
"Is he really laughing, or was that sarcasm?" Aryan thought with an embarassed smile on his face.
If it weren't for Drake helping him that day, Aryan couldn't imagine what kind of circumstances he would be in right now.
"I don't know if that's what you call humanity. This thing was definitely missing in my world anyway." Aryan thought
