Apollo couldn't believe his ears. Kendal was asking him to join her to bed every night and she would also be the one who would look after him.
After so long Apollo could finally see some progress in their relationship and couldn't stop but smile like a lovestruck fool.
Giving her a nod, Apollo kept grinning to himself. While he was still busy savoring the moment, Kendal once again spoke.
"I would be heading out of the mansion for some time. It will take me a while to return" Kendal's words stopped the smile on his face and he quickly asked
"Where are you going?" Apollo asked suddenly feeling anxious in his heart.
The thought of her leaving the house crossed his mind and it made him nervous.
Apollo was too proud to stop his wife from leaving before, but after the long separation he realized one thing and that was he couldn't let her go again. He realized that he needed her in his life no matter the circumstances between them.
