Julianna snapped out of her trance, the moment she heard Arthur worried voice and she turned to look at him with utter bewilderment.
"Huh!.." she was still grasping her thoughts when Arthur again spoke.
"I know you are upset with me. Is this why you aren't ready to talk with your dad" It was then Julianna realized how her father misunderstood her silence for her upset.
"No.. no Dad. It's not what you are thinking. It's just that I was very surprised to find that you returned way too earlier than your due time" Julianna expressed and watched Arthur's hurtful expression vanish the next second.
"Is that so? I thought you were still upset with me... I was worried for nothing" he said with the same amazement he felt when he finally saw his daughter after so many days.
Julianna felt a huge stone being lifted from her shoulder when she realized her father had no idea about anything. All he believed was she had been to her friend's house to study.
