Su Ming Yuan sat in the living room with Darling accompanying him. Once in a while, Su Ming Yuan would glance at Ye Qing Xin who was in his kitchen.
His gaze turned soft.
Su Ming Yuan did not expect that the sound of the running water and the soft clacking of the plates would be so comforting.
But as he remembered the matters that he was supposed to talk to Ye Qing Xin about, Su Ming Yuan became tensed again.
"Meow." Darling protested when he stopped stroking her head.
He lowered his gaze and met Darlings. The cat blinked at him a few times before continuously asking him to continue scratching her head.
Having the cat by his side gradually made him relaxed. It might be his imagination, but Darling seemed to be telling him that it was right.
Su Ming Yuan heaved a breath before scratching the cat's head again.
