Kim:
“Sire…are you sure this is a good idea?” Aawut asked Kimhan for probably the thousandth’s time as they got off their private helicopter at the shores of Pattaya city, right outside The Paradise Resort, which was one of Kimhan’s many legal businesses.
“Aawut…” Kim sighed, rubbing at his temples as the helicopter blades finally stopped their rotation and the ear-splitting noise finally came to an end, giving everyone instant relief.
“Kit and Kaya have a right to know, I understand that.” He told his right hand man. “But how do you expect me to tell them that I came here to look for their father, who has just robbed another Jao por (mafia don) and run away with the money?”
“But what if he contacted either of them?” Aawut insisted. “Wouldn’t it help us find him sooner? Pattaya is filled with all kinds of thugs. He could easily be taking shelter at any of the organized crime groups in the city or forming a gang of his own right now.”
