The next morning dawned with an air of anticipation as the five brothers gathered around the dining table, their expressions alive with excitement. Jimin, ever observant, couldn't help but notice their heightened spirits as he deftly distributed plates of food. "You all seem unusually thrilled today. What's the occasion?" he inquired, curious about the source of their enthusiasm.
Yeonjun, with a bashful grin, shared their plans, "We're starting our training regimen today. After yesterday's realization we think we need to enhance our hand-to-hand combat skills alongside our proficiency with weapons, we're eager to get started."
Jungkook, intrigued by their newfound focus on martial arts, probed further, "That sounds intense. Who's going to be your instructor for this?"
"We were hoping you could all guide us," Yeonjun replied, casting a glance around the table. "Each of you excels in different areas, whether it's firearms, combat techniques, or other skills."
Taehyung, always eager for new challenges, chimed in with enthusiasm, "Count us in! We'll kick off right after breakfast."
Soobin, with a hopeful gleam in his eyes, turned to Seokjin, "Will Namjoon hyung also be joining us for training?"
Seokjin, mindful of Namjoon's schedule, replied diplomatically, "It depends on his work commitments. You should ask him directly; he usually has morning duties to attend to."
Hoseok, known for his comforting nature, reassured the group, "Don't worry, Namjoon will likely agree. Despite his outward demeanor, he's a soft-hearted soul beneath it all."
Their laughter filled the room as they continued discussing plans, interrupted only by Namjoon's arrival, dressed casually for work. "Good morning, everyone. Jin Hyung, I'll have to skip breakfast today," he greeted them warmly, aware of his impending departure.
However, before he could leave, the chef interjected, "Wait, RM!"
Namjoon paused, turning to acknowledge the chef's call. Together, they made their way to the basement, where Seokjin had set up a secondary kitchen.
Seokjin's love for cooking was unmatched, but his mafia duties left him too busy to cook daily for his companions. To solve this, he oversaw the creation of a beautiful basement kitchen, not for himself but for the chefs serving the BTS mafia gang.
This basement kitchen was vital for keeping the mafia's activities hidden. It ensured that no outsiders, including the chefs and other staff, knew anything about the mafia's members or their way of life. It was a secretive space where chefs worked diligently without glimpsing the faces or lifestyles of the mafia brothers, maintaining strict secrecy.
Living as mafias meant they had to be extremely cautious. Only Namjoon, felt comfortable enough to be seen without a mask within their secured premises. For everyone else, revealing their identities was strictly forbidden and could result in severe consequences, even death. If anyone outside their inner circle saw the mafia members without masks, they were required to bow down as a sign of respect and ignorance.
Breaking these secrecy rules had severe consequences, as they were essential for the gang's safety and power. Maintaining anonymity and secrecy was crucial in their dangerous world, where any slip-up could be fatal.
In the dimly lit basement kitchen, RM's insecurities bubbled to the surface as the chef approached him about the monthly food expenses. The chef's demeanor, though seemingly routine, triggered RM's underlying sense of inferiority and fear of asserting himself boldly.
"RM, it's time to settle up for the monthly food expenses. You did promise to cover them, didn't you?" the chef remarked casually, his words carrying a subtle undertone of authority.
RM felt a pang of unease at the chef's reminder, his inferiority complex making him second-guess himself. "Yes, I remember," RM replied softly, his voice lacking the usual confidence he tried to project.
The chef, perhaps sensing RM's hesitation, continued with a hint of condescension, "We wouldn't want any delays, especially from someone who himself told that he will do the payment as he does not want to be a freeloader. "
RM's heart raced a bit faster, his fear of being seen as incapable or unreliable gnawing at him. "No delays, I assure you," RM replied, trying to sound assured but failing to hide his inner doubts.
RM's conflicting emotions swirled within him as he left the kitchen and returned to the hall, where Yeonjun awaited him with eager anticipation.
"Hyung," Yeonjun began, his voice carrying a mix of excitement and sincerity, "we were thinking if you could teach us some hand combat fighting skills. You and the other hyungs. We really want to learn from you all. Especially when we saw you yesterday, you were great. Your skills are unmatched, and we trust you to teach us."
RM, caught off guard by Yeonjun's earnest approach, furrowed his brow in contemplation. The weight of his responsibilities bore down on him, especially after the chef's taunting reminder about the pending food expenses. "Yeonjun, I appreciate your trust in me," RM replied slowly, his gaze flickering between Yeonjun's expectant face and his own conflicted thoughts.
Yeonjun, sensing RM's hesitation, continued with conviction, "We know you're busy, hyung. But learning from you means more than just gaining skills. It's about trust and unity within our group. We want to be stronger together."
RM's heart softened at Yeonjun's heartfelt words. The bond between them was more than just familial; it was a pact forged in their shared struggles and aspirations within the mafia's intricate world. "I understand, Yeonjun," RM nodded, a flicker of determination igniting in his eyes. "Let's practice. I'll find a way to manage."
Yeonjun's face lit up with a grateful smile, his eyes reflecting admiration and trust. "Thank you, hyung. We won't let you down," Yeonjun affirmed, his words carrying a promise of dedication and perseverance.
As they prepared to begin their impromptu training session, RM's mind buzzed with thoughts of responsibility and commitment.
As everyone settled in, the mood among the BTS members was lively and playful. Jungkook, always one for friendly competition, flexed his muscles teasingly, setting the stage for what was to come. Jimin, with his trademark smirk, raised an eyebrow in amusement at Jungkook's antics.
Seokjin, known for his creative and sometimes eccentric ideas, saw an opportunity for a fun activity. "First off, to know where you lack and at what you are best, I think we should do a battle. What do you say?" he proposed, his tone light but mischievous.
Jungkook's eyes lit up with excitement. "Sounds good. Let's do this!"
Seokjin, without missing a beat, continued with a straight face, "Bunny vs. bunny, bear vs. bear, fox vs. puppy, squirrel vs. squirrel, and lastly, cat vs. deer."
The room erupted into laughter and excitement as they paired off according to Jin's whimsical categories. Jungkook faced off against Soobin, Taehyung challenged Beomgyu, Yeonjun took on Jimin, Hoseok squared off with Taehyun, and Yoongi found himself facing Hueningkai.
Amidst the playful chaos, RM couldn't help but feel a tad confused. His furrowed brow and puzzled expression stood out amidst the laughter of the others.
Jin noticed RM's confusion and couldn't resist teasing him a bit. "You did not understand, right?" Jin quipped, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
RM looked at Jin with a mix of bewilderment and amusement. "It's a thing between us. They look or behave similar to the animals that I mentioned. Especially Soobinie and Kookie. They look too cute while eating and laughing," Jin explained with a playful grin.
RM chuckled, finally getting the gist of Jin's playful categorization. "Ah, I see. It's all about the resemblance and behaviors."
Jin nodded with a grin. "Exactly! Now let's see how our animal counterparts fare in this friendly battle," he said, gesturing towards the ongoing matchups with a dramatic flair.
As the playful chaos of the animal-themed battles unfolded, RM found himself caught in a moment of amusement and confusion. His lips curved into a subtle smile as he watched the antics of his friends, each embodying their chosen animal persona with gusto.
However, beneath RM's composed exterior, a hint of perplexity lingered. He couldn't help but notice Jin's sly amusement and the way Yoongi's keen eyes seemed to catch onto RM's slight shift in demeanor. Yet, RM chose to play along, embracing the drama unfolding before him.
After the dust settled from their playful battles, Seokjin took on a more serious tone, his expression shifting to one of contemplation as he prepared to address the strengths and weaknesses of each member.
"Okay guys, it's time to reflect on our performances and uncover areas for improvement," Jin declared, his voice carrying a weight of authority that demanded attention.
He began with a stern gaze, addressing each member directly, "Jungkook, while your enthusiasm and energy are commendable, be mindful not to let distractions sway your focus during crucial moments."
Turning to Soobin, Jin continued, "Soobin, your gentle nature and kindness are admirable, but remember to assert yourself when the situation calls for it. Confidence can be your ally."
Taehyung listened intently as Jin pointed out, "Tae, your creativity and quick thinking are impressive, but don't let impulsiveness cloud your judgment. Sometimes, a strategic approach can lead to greater success."
Beomgyu nodded in acknowledgment as Jin highlighted, "Beomgyu, your sharp wit and adaptability are assets, yet temper your eagerness with patience. Rushing into decisions can sometimes backfire."
Addressing Yeonjun, Jin remarked, "Yeonjun, your strong presence and charisma are undeniable, but channel that energy effectively to avoid exhaustion. Consistency in battle is key."
Jimin's gaze met Jin's as he continued, "Jimin, your agility and precision are remarkable, but maintain a balance between intensity and relaxation to prevent burnout. Take time to recharge."
Hoseok received Jin's feedback with a nod, "Hobi, your passion and enthusiasm are contagious, yet refine your focus to avoid getting carried away. Precision enhances impact."
Turning to Taehyun, Jin pointed "Taehyun, your analytical skills and strategic thinking are commendable, but remember to trust your instincts and embrace spontaneity when needed."
Lastly, Jin addressed Yoongi, "Yoongi, your calm demeanor and strategic approach are invaluable, but challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone. Embracing change can lead to growth."
As Jin concluded his assessment, Yoongi, though initially taken aback by the directness, recognized Jin's intentions. But it seemed too harsh and it demoralized the members. He turned to RM, seeking a more balanced perspective.
"RM, can you share your insights on our strengths and weaknesses?" Yoongi asked, his tone reflecting a desire for a deeper understanding.
RM nodded thoughtfully, "Of course. While Jin pointed out areas for improvement, it's important to note that each of us also possesses unique strengths that contribute to our collective success."
RM then went on to elaborate, "Jungkook's passion and determination are matched by his adaptability, allowing him to excel in various roles. Soobin's empathy and kindness create a harmonious atmosphere within the group."
"Taehyung's creativity and vision often bring fresh perspectives to our projects, while Beomgyu's attention to detail and resourcefulness ensure thoroughness in our work," RM continued, highlighting the positive aspects of each member.
He then turned to Yeonjun, "Yeonjun's leadership qualities and strong ferocious presence inspire confidence and motivate us all. Jimin's dedication and precision elevate our performances to new heights."
"Hoseok's energy and positivity are infectious, bringing a sense of joy to our endeavors," RM praised, acknowledging Hobi's impact. "Taehyun's analytical mind and strategic thinking provide valuable insights that guide our decision-making."
"And Yoongi," RM concluded with a smile, "your calmness and strategic mindset act as a stabilizing force, providing clarity and direction during challenging times. Your wisdom is an asset to us all."
The tension in the air was palpable as Seokjin's frustration reached a boiling point, his words sharper than usual as he confronted RM in front of the rest of the members.
"RM, do you even realize what you've done?" Jin's voice cut through the gym, his tone accusatory and harsh. "Your soft approach is turning them complacent. We need to challenge each other, not coddle!"
RM, typically calm and composed, stood silently, his expression a mix of regret and acceptance. As the youngest member of the group, he was not accustomed to such direct criticism from Jin.
"You're supposed to be setting an example, Namjoon," Jin continued, not mincing his words. "But instead, you're letting them off easy. What kind of example does that set?"
RM nodded slowly, his gaze fixed on the ground as he absorbed Jin's criticism. He felt the weight of Jin's expectations and the disappointment it brought.
"You're letting the team down, RM," Jin's voice softened slightly, a hint of disappointment lingering. "We need everyone to be at their best, pushing boundaries, not settling for mediocrity."
RM remained silent, his silence speaking volumes as he took in Jin's words without offering any rebuttal. The gravity of the situation hung heavily in the air, the usually harmonious atmosphere of their group disrupted by this clash of ideals.
As the conversation came to a tense pause, Jin let out a sigh, the frustration evident in his expression. "I expect more from you, RM. We all do," Jin concluded, his disappointment evident as he turned away, leaving RM to contemplate his actions and the impact they had on the group dynamic.
RM, surprised by Jin's sudden outburst, paused for a moment, taking in the criticism. Typically, RM would have defended himself vigorously, even resorting to confrontation if his words weren't heeded, as they had witnessed in his interactions with So-Hoon hyung. However, this time, RM opted not to justify himself. Instead, he apologized sincerely, acknowledging Jin's concerns and expressing regret for any possible misunderstandings.
"I'm sorry, Jin. I didn't mean to come across that way," RM apologized earnestly, his voice tinged with regret. "I'll reflect on my approach and do better next time."
With a heavy heart, RM decided to excuse himself from the gym, feeling the weight of Jin's disappointment and the impact of his unintentional mistake.
Jin watched RM leave with a mix of shock and concern, realizing the impact of his words on his friend and fellow member. Turning to Yoongi, who had been observing the scene unfold, Jin tried to make sense of the situation.
"Yoongi, in our line of work, disagreements and clashes are common," Jin explained, his voice softer now, tinged with regret. "But RM not defending himself like that... it's unlike him. It feels as though he's taking all the blame without a fight. I was expecting a fight with him. "
The tension in the room lingered even after Seokjin and RM's tense conversation came to an end. Yoongi and Hoseok exchanged knowing looks, their expressions reflecting a mixture of concern and understanding.
Hoseok let out a sigh, his gaze shifting towards RM. "Namjoon has changed," he remarked softly. "He used to be so sharp, full of confidence. I don't know what happened to make his self-esteem take such a hit."
Yoongi, leaning against a nearby wall, nodded in agreement. "It all started after he was banned from working on that project," Yoongi added, his tone somber. "It's like a part of him shut down since then."
Jimin, who had been listening quietly, finally spoke up. "I think it's more than just the project," Jimin interjected, his voice tinged with concern. "Remember that day when Namjoon thought Jungkook got hurt and kidnapped because of him? "
The mention of that incident brought a solemn silence over the group as they recalled the tense moments of that day.
Taehyung, who had been listening from a distance, joined the conversation. "That incident really shook him," Taehyung admitted, his expression filled with empathy. "He blamed himself for something that wasn't even his fault."
The other members nodded in agreement, the weight of RM's guilt and self-doubt becoming more apparent.
"He's been overthinking things ever since," Yoongi added, his voice laced with concern. "It's like he's carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders."
The group fell into a moment of shared understanding, realizing the deeper struggles RM had been facing beneath his calm exterior. They all wished they could ease his burdens and help him regain his confidence.
"He needs to know that we're here for him," Jungkook spoke up, his usually playful demeanor replaced with genuine concern. "We're a team, and we'll get through this together."
The five younger members were clueless about what their older brothers were discussing. Soobin decided to take the lead and bring up the topic. Yoongi then recounted the incident from that day in detail. Afterward, Taehyun suggested that their group of five gather for additional practice, while the other six members left the gym.
In the quiet of the gym, with only the soft hum of distant machines breaking the silence, Taehyun gathered the remaining members of their group—Beomgyu, Soobin, and Yeonjun. The weight of recent events hung heavy in the air, casting shadows over their usually lively camaraderie.
Taehyun's brow furrowed as he spoke, his voice low yet carrying a sense of urgency, "Namjoon hyung... he's not one to let his guard down, especially in serious situations."
Beomgyu, his eyes reflecting concern, nodded in agreement. "You're right. Namjoon hyung's attention to detail and focus are unmatched. But why do you mention this now?"
Taehyun's gaze shifted between them, his expression resolute. "Because we can't afford to overlook anything, especially when it concerns him. We need to find the cctv footage of the park where the fight took place."
Soobin, munching on snacks he mysteriously found in the gym, interrupted the serious conversation with a playful grin. "Hold up, everyone! Can we address the elephant in the room? That recording on Namjoon hyung's phone needs to disappear faster than a drama villain in the final episode!"
Yeonjun, unable to resist Soobin's adorable antics, couldn't help but ruffle his hair affectionately. "Soobinie, you're too cute for your own good! But seriously, what's this about a recording?"
Soobin, now fully embracing his role as the drama's comic relief, nodded dramatically. "The elusive recording! It's like the forbidden scroll of our secrets, guys. I've been losing sleep over it, I tell you!"
As the realization dawned on them, Hueningkai's eyes widened in shock. "Oh! You're right!" he exclaimed, looking at Beomgyu with newfound understanding.
"We can delete it now! Hyung must be taking a bath," Beomgyu suggested, a hint of mischief in his voice.
Yeonjun, always the skeptic, raised an eyebrow. "How can you be so sure he's taking a bath?"
Beomgyu, feeling quite proud of his deduction, explained, "Well, he was in the gym, and people usually shower after working out."
Taehyun, eager to resolve the issue, chimed in, "Good logic, Beomgyu, but hyung didn't work out today. Anyway, let's go check on him. We need to delete that recording today."
With a unanimous nod, all five of them set off to find Namjoon. True to Beomgyu's prediction, Namjoon was indeed in the bathroom of his room, much to Taehyun's surprise.
"Weird," Taehyun muttered under his breath, but then quickly refocused on the task at hand—finding Namjoon's phone and deleting the recording before it caused any further trouble.
With stealth and caution, Soobin discreetly pointed at the phone resting on the table near Namjoon's bed. Yeonjun nodded in understanding, and the two of them moved silently, mindful of every creaking floorboard. Meanwhile, Beomgyu and Taehyun kept a watchful eye on Namjoon's activities, ensuring their covert operation remained undetected.
Hueningkai took up his position outside the room, ready to intercept anyone who might unwittingly disturb their mission. Soobin and Yeonjun, squatting low to the ground to minimize their visibility, approached the phone. They knew standing upright risked exposure if Namjoon were to return unexpectedly.
To their surprise, the phone lacked any screen lock, making their task easier yet more puzzling. Soobin's brows furrowed as he explored the phone's contents. What they discovered left them baffled—a few photos of their other hyungs group photos, but notably missing were any pictures of Namjoon himself. The phone seemed almost deliberately devoid of personal data, no contacts, no messages, just a bare shell.
Despite this unexpected twist, Soobin swiftly located the solitary recording and deleted it, signaling to Yeonjun that their mission was accomplished. They retreated stealthily, crawling back to their rendezvous point.
Reconvening in Hueningkai's room, the five members exchanged glances filled with relief and a hint of bewilderment at the peculiar emptiness of Namjoon's phone.
"Did you manage to delete the recording?" Taehyun asked anxiously.
Soobin nodded, relief evident on his face. "Yes, I did. Surprisingly, it was the only item in Namjoon's phone, apart from six photos of the other hyungs."
"Huh? That's strange," Hueningkai exclaimed, his confusion evident.
Soobin continued, "Yeah, his phone was like a blank canvas. No contacts, no gallery items, no apps—nothing. It's like it was deliberately wiped clean."
Realization dawned on Hueningkai's face. "Oh! I remember now. I promised Jimin hyung I would learn some hacking tricks from him. I better go catch up on that," he declared before dashing off.
The group was left slightly bewildered by the bizarre discovery but relieved that the recording was no longer a threat.
Beomgyu, trying to lighten the mood, suggested, "Well, now that we've solved that mystery, how about we all take a shower together?"
Yeonjun raised an eyebrow, his expression a mix of amusement and disbelief. "You mean together, like, all of us?"
Beomgyu grinned mischievously. "Why not? It'll be fun! Plus, it's a good way to celebrate our successful mission."
Beomgyu smirks and bites his lips. Seeing this as a signal Yeonjun throws Soobin on his shoulders and smacks his butt making Soobjn squeak. Beomgyu jumps on Taehyun and puts his legs around Taehyun's waist and bites his neck. Taheyun squeezes Beomgyu's butt and takes him in the shower.
They entered the shower room and started undressing each other playfully. The water was hot and steamy, filling the small space with a thick mist. Everyone was laughing and joking, splashing each other with water and singing along to the music playing in the background.
As they washed each other's bodies, their hands moved over each other's skin in a sensual rhythm. They took turns soaping up each other's backs, running their hands over each other's curves and muscles. They kissed and nipped at each other's necks, leaving wet trails of saliva on their skin. They pressed against each other's bodies, feeling the heat and moisture between them. They moaned and gasped, lost in the pleasure of being together.
After a while, they decided to move things to the bedroom. They dried off each other's bodies and then lay down on the bed. They wrapped themselves in towels and snuggled up together, still giggling and teasing each other. They didn't know where this would lead, but they were enjoying every moment of it.
The boys looked at each other, their eyes wide open, their hearts racing faster than ever before. They knew what this meant - they had found true happiness in each other's arms, and there was no turning back. They had found the perfect place for them to be forever, and they couldn't wait to see what else life had in store for them.
And so, they continued to explore each other's bodies, caressing and kissing each other in ways they never thought possible. They felt free and wild, and nothing could stop them from giving in to their desires. They had found love in its most pure form, and they would do anything to keep it safe and secure. They were ready to take the next step, but they couldn't. They need to tell Hueningkai about this. They need to include him in this relationship as soon as they can. The four are just waiting for the right time.
As night fell, RM remained secluded in his room throughout the day, causing unease among the other members. His absence during lunch prompted Jin and Yoongi to check on him, only to find him asleep facing away from them. Respecting his rest, they left him undisturbed. Later, at dinner, RM appeared briefly, smiled at everyone, and then excused himself to the terrace. There, he exchanged an alcohol bottle for money in the cupboard before settling under the welcoming glow of the big, full moon.
The group often enjoyed stargazing together, so Jimin had arranged for chairs to be set up on the terrace. RM reclined on one of these chairs, indulging in the alcohol he had brought along.
"Come out. Hiding won't help. Let's talk," RM's voice broke the silence, acknowledging the presence of someone nearby.
"You knew I was here," So-Hoon's voice came from behind the door, revealing his presence.
"Why are you here?" RM inquired, curious about So-Hoon's unexpected appearance.
"Just noticed you heading up and thought I might join. What are you up to?" So-Hoon responded, stepping closer.
Isn't the night beautiful? Let's enjoy it together. You and Jimin share more similarities than you think," So-Hoon remarked, trying to bridge the gap.
"I'm not really in the mood for arguments. I'm just tired," RM confessed, his exhaustion evident.
Why? Don't your brothers take care of you?" So-Hoon's innocent question struck a deep chord within RM, filling him with a mix of sadness and frustration. He couldn't help but laugh bitterly as he gulped down a full glass of alcohol. "You sure know how to play psychological games. You can stand on your own. Make your own team. Why be someone's dog?"
So-Hoon, sensing the heaviness in RM's words, softened his tone. "No need to be so rude. Let me join you for a drink."
Attempting to distract himself, RM brought up Joon-wo, the little boy they both cared about. "How is Joon-wo doing?"
"Why? We live in the same house. You can meet him. Why are you asking me?" So-Hoon replied, a hint of confusion in his voice.
RM's eyes clouded with unspoken pain. "Don't make me angry. Haven't you already played enough with me? Not satisfied yet?"
So-Hoon, genuinely puzzled, asked, "What are you talking about?"
RM's voice softened, betraying his inner turmoil. "Let it be. I trust my brothers to take care of Joon-wo. I don't want to argue with you. Your brothers might come to save you from me. Again!" The word 'again' carried the weight of past grievances and misunderstandings.
"So-Hoon, you're really something. In just a month, you've turned me into an outsider, severing the bonds I've cherished for three years with my brothers. It's quite remarkable," RM's voice held a mixture of sadness and resignation, acknowledging the pain of feeling betrayed by someone he once trusted.
"You're too drunk? What's gotten into you?" So-Hoon's concern was evident as he watched RM's emotional turmoil unfold.
"I wish I were drunk. But everything that's happened lately keeps me awake, whether in sleep or in this state," RM's voice carried a weariness that spoke volumes about his inner struggles.
So-Hoon, trying to understand, asked gently, "How can you accuse me of what's happening to you? And what do you plan to do now?"
RM took a deep breath, the weight of his words heavy with emotion. "If it's just fate playing with me, then I'll accept it and pray for it to end soon. But..." RM paused, taking a long swig from the bottle.
"But what? Please, continue," So-Hoon encouraged, wanting RM to share his burden.
"But if someone is deliberately toying with me, it won't end well," RM's voice was filled with a mix of determination and vulnerability, revealing his fear of being manipulated or betrayed.
So, how will you do it? You're all alone in this," So-Hoon probed further, concerned about RM's state of mind.
"I will make them experience a thousand times the pain I'm feeling. I'll make them beg at my feet for mercy, beg for death, but I'll keep them alive until I'm satisfied," RM's voice was firm and filled with a raw intensity as he looked directly into So-Hoon's eyes for the first time since their conversation began. The eye contact was piercing, holding a mix of anger and deep-seated pain.
So-Hoon couldn't help but feel a chill run down his spine as he met RM's gaze, his eyes resembling those of a dragon, cold and filled with an unrelenting determination. The intensity of RM's emotions was palpable, leaving So-Hoon with a sense of unease and realization of the depth of RM's inner turmoil.
As RM stood up and left without finishing the entire bottle, So-Hoon observed him with furrowed eyebrows, a mixture of concern and confusion on his face.
"He's the one who should beg for mercy. He's the one who killed her... Ahh! Why doesn't he remember anything?" So-Hoon muttered to himself, frustration evident in his actions as he clutched his hair, wrestling with his own thoughts and emotions.
Meanwhile, RM glanced back at his hyungs and the little five brothers as they chatted, laughed, and teased each other. Their camaraderie and happiness were palpable, and RM couldn't help but feel a pang of longing mixed with sadness.
"I suppose... I really don't belong here. I can't bear to destroy their happiness," RM whispered to himself with a heavy sigh, wiping away the tears that threatened to escape. With a heavy heart, he made his way downstairs, bypassing the lively scene in the hall, and headed straight to his room, closing the door behind him.
The sight of RM retreating to his bed left the others feeling a sense of sadness and frustration. Taehyun exchanged a silent signal with the other four, indicating that they should also retire to their rooms. Soon, only the six of them remained in the once bustling hall, now filled with an atmosphere tinged with melancholy and concern.
"I don't understand. He said it wouldn't affect our relationship and that he's not distancing himself from us. So why the strange behavior?" Jungkook voiced his confusion, his brow furrowed with concern.
"Something more must have happened. He went to see Hana alone in the middle of the night, and since then, things have felt different," Hoseok added, his expression reflecting a mix of worry and curiosity.
"He even hid his injuries from us. Does he not trust us, or does he think we don't care about him?" Jimin pondered aloud, his voice tinged with a hint of hurt.
"We can't let this continue. We need to confront him. Avoiding the issue will only make things worse," Seokjin spoke up, his tone determined yet empathetic.
"You're right. Let's talk to him first thing tomorrow morning. We'll get straight to the point. Misunderstandings are the worst," Yoongi suggested, his usually calm demeanor showing signs of concern.
"Hopefully, everything will improve after we talk to him," Taehyung added optimistically, a small glimmer of hope in his voice. The group nodded in agreement, their hearts heavy with worry for their friend but determined to mend whatever rift had developed among them.
In RM's dimly lit room, he lay on his bed, staring at the off-white, creamy ceiling. Memories flooded his mind, transporting him to days filled with laughter and camaraderie with his fellow members.
He couldn't help but chuckle as he reminisced about one particular incident with Jin hyung. Due to habit, Jin had appointed RM as the breakfast chef again, despite one disastrous episode in the past. That morning, RM's culinary skills surprised them all once again. He managed to produce a combination of half-burnt toast, uncooked eggs, and a pancake that resembled a Frisbee more than a breakfast item. Jin hyung's attempts to rap about the breakfast mishap only added to the hilarity, resulting in everyone unanimously deciding to order food from outside that day.
Another vivid memory involved Yoongi peacefully napping while RM and Taehyung engaged in an impromptu game of catch. The innocent game took a chaotic turn when the ball accidentally landed on Yoongi's head, rousing him from his slumber like a wild tiger. His growls and playful threats had them all running for cover, turning the peaceful scene into a hilarious chase around the mansion.
As RM lay in bed, reminiscing about the past, more funny and endearing memories flooded his mind, each involving his mischievous and playful members.
One memory that never failed to bring a smile to his face was the time Hoseok decided to try his hand at baking cookies. The result? Chewy hockey pucks that were so hard even Jin's expertise couldn't save them. The entire dorm echoed with laughter as they attempted to break the cookies, with Hoseok insisting they were "extra crunchy."
Then there was the time Jimin, in a moment of mischief, decided to surprise everyone with a homemade face mask. What he didn't anticipate was mixing up the ingredients and ending up with a sticky, gooey mess that stuck to everyone's faces like glue. They spent the evening trying to peel it off, laughing at their temporary facial art.
Taehyung, known for his love of photography, once decided to capture candid moments of everyone during a game night. However, his camera ended up being filled with accidental selfies and blurred shots of flying game pieces as they played a particularly intense round of Monopoly. Taehyung's excitement over each "artistic" shot had them all in stitches.
Lastly, Jungkook, always eager to contribute, decided to surprise everyone with a DIY movie night. He set up a makeshift cinema in the living room complete with blankets, popcorn, and a projector. However, his excitement got the best of him as he fumbled with the technology, accidentally projecting the movie onto the ceiling instead of the screen. What followed was a hilarious "movie on the ceiling" experience, with everyone lying on their backs and watching the upside-down action unfold. Despite the technical mishap, Jungkook's enthusiasm and the shared laughter made it a movie night they would never forget.
As RM lay in the darkness of his room, his mind was a whirlwind of conflicting emotions and memories. The moments of laughter and camaraderie with his members felt like distant echoes in the vast expanse of his troubled thoughts.
"I don't deserve it," RM murmured softly, his voice carrying the weight of self-doubt and guilt. "After what my memory showed me, whether it's a twisted reality or not, I don't know. But if I played a part in causing Joon-wo's parents' death, then I don't deserve the happiness and warmth of our bond. I can't even face them."
