RM found himself standing in the eerily familiar factory where he had first met the BTS members years ago. The place bore the scars of time; half destroyed yet not fully abandoned, caught in a limbo between existence and oblivion. Confusion clouded RM's mind as he tried to make sense of why he was there.
Before he could gather his thoughts, the scene turned tense as the six members of BTS burst into the scene, their expressions a mix of anger and concern. Taehyung's voice cut through the air like a blade. "You really kidnapped Hoon hyung. What the hell is going on in your mind?"
RM was taken aback. "Kidnapped? I did? When?" His eyes scanned the room, landing on So-Hoon tied to a chair, unconscious.
"Hyung, believe me, I did not kidnap him," RM protested, his voice carrying genuine bewilderment. "Hell, even I don't know how I ended up here!"
The confusion spread to the other members. Yoongi's furrowed brows mirrored RM's own perplexity. "What is going on?" he questioned, his voice tinged with worry. It didn't make sense; if RM had truly kidnapped So-Hoon, he wouldn't deny it. Something deeper was at play, weaving a complex web of mystery and uncertainty around them.
Seokjin's words cut through the air like a dagger, each syllable heavy with a mix of fear and disbelief. "We will deal with this later. But the main thing is the question that we ask! Did you... Did you really kill Joon-wo's parents?" His voice trembled, betraying the fear of uncovering a truth too painful to bear.
RM's world seemed to crumble around him as he struggled to comprehend the accusation. "What? How do you..." His words faltered as Seokjin's expression hardened with a mix of anguish and accusation.
"You really did kill them. You did not!! Tell me you did not! Don't play with me!" Seokjin's voice rose, his trembling lips and shaking hands revealing the depth of his emotional turmoil.
RM felt a surge of conflicting emotions, his fists clenching in frustration and self-directed anger. "I don't... My memory says that I killed them," he admitted, his voice low and filled with remorse. The weight of the accusation and the uncertainty of his own past actions bore down on him, leaving him torn between disbelief and a haunting sense of guilt.
The room fell into a heavy silence, the air thick with unspoken questions and raw emotions.
Yoongi's voice rang out, filled with a mixture of disappointment and frustration. "Then today, don't think you will escape. You stayed with us this long and still didn't think to tell us. Joon-wo was not able to receive parents' love; he did not even see them once. You knew we were searching for their killer for this long, and still, you stayed quiet. Don't you think it's too much?!"
RM's throat tightened as he tried to respond, but words failed him in the face of his friends' justified anger and hurt. The weight of his silence bore down on him heavily, realizing the depth of pain his actions—or lack thereof—had caused.
Jungkook's voice pierced the tense air, filled with a mixture of anger and heartbreak. "How? How can you do this, Joonie!! How can you kill an innocent couple who begged to live? What was the reason?" His voice rose with each word, tears brimming in his eyes, reflecting a conflict within him that tore at his very soul. Jungkook was torn between his love for RM and the need for justice for his brother and sister.
The room seemed to hold its breath, caught in a moment of raw emotion and unspoken truths. The bonds of friendship and brotherhood were tested as they grappled with the revelation of a dark secret that threatened to tear them apart. RM stood before them, feeling the weight of their accusations and the gravity of his past actions, his heart heavy with regret and the knowledge that he had failed not just himself, but those he held most dear.
RM's admission hung heavily in the air, his words a painful acknowledgment of the gravity of his actions. "Then don't hesitate. I was myself thinking whether it was false. But I don't think my memory is false. I must have been a bad person who killed many innocent souls. Hyung, don't hesitate today," he said, his smile a mix of resignation and sorrow.
Jimin and Hoseok, unable to find words to express the tumult of emotions raging within them, remained silent. Their hearts ached with the weight of the situation, the trust they had placed in RM now shaken by the harsh reality before them.
The room was filled with a heavy silence, broken only by the sounds of their breathing and the distant echoes of their past conversations and shared memories. Each member grappled with their own thoughts and emotions, trying to make sense of the revelations that had unfolded before them.
In that moment of painful truth and silent introspection, the bonds of their brotherhood were tested like never before. Uncertainty hung in the air, mingling with the unspoken words and unshed tears, as they stood together in the aftermath of a revelation that threatened to change everything they thought they knew about each other.
All of a sudden gunfire erupted, chaos engulfed the once tense but stationary scene. The six brothers instinctively reacted, returning fire amidst the chaos. However, the element of surprise left them exposed, and soon Seokjin and Jungkook were grazed by bullets, their pain a stark reminder of the danger they were in.
But amidst the chaos and danger, an unexpected transformation took place. RM, fueled by the desperate need to protect his loved ones, underwent the hybrid transformation that left the others awestruck. His form shifted, turning into a magnificent blue wolf with golden eyes, towering over them at a formidable size.
The wolf, now serving as a shield for the group, bravely faced the incoming onslaught of bullets, taking the impact upon itself to protect its pack. The six brothers stood behind in shock and awe, their worry for RM eclipsing the earlier accusations and anger.
The irony wasn't lost on them—moments ago, they were grappling with accusations and emotions that threatened to tear them apart. Now, united in the face of a common threat, they found themselves witnessing RM's selfless act of protection. The realization dawned on them that despite their differences and the challenges they faced, their bond as brothers, comrades and lovers was unbreakable.
The air filled with the sound of gunfire and the ferocious growls of the protective wolf, a symbol of loyalty and sacrifice in the midst of turmoil. In that moment, their individual conflicts faded into insignificance, replaced by a shared determination to survive and protect each other at all costs.
The scene was one of both triumph and sacrifice as the magnificent wolf, embodying RM's fierce determination and protective instincts, howled with power and anguish. The force of his howl shattered the glass windows, sending shards scattering in all directions, which hit accurately, the agonized cries of their assailants echoed through the air.
Despite the wounds inflicted upon him, RM's wolf form remained steadfast, ready to defend his brothers at any cost. Blood stained his fur, a testament to the price of protection and the lengths he was willing to go to shield those he cared for.
As the chaos subsided and the firing ceased, BTS men rushed in, their expressions a mix of relief and concern. " All assailants have been taken care of,sir". Said one man.
The wolf, now weakened from the ordeal, collapsed to the ground, its breathing labored. With a shimmer of energy, RM transformed back to his human form, the wounds he sustained now painfully evident.
His brothers gathered around him, their worry palpable as they assessed the extent of his injuries. The bullet wounds, one in his leg, another on his back, and the most critical one in the middle of his chest, spoke volumes of the danger they had narrowly escaped.
The weight of their shared experience, from accusations to protection, hung in the air as they tended to RM's wounds and ensured their safety. In that moment of vulnerability and unity, they found strength in each other's presence, knowing that no matter the challenges they faced, they were stronger together.
Seokjin's voice echoed with urgency and panic as he tried to stop the bleeding from RM's chest, his hands trembling with the gravity of the situation. "Quick, call an ambulance... No, no, don't call an ambulance. Call Hana... Call Madam Hana immediately!" His desperation was palpable, a desperate attempt to save his lover's life.
RM, his strength waning, managed to utter a few words in a low voice, his hand gripping Seokjin's tightly. "Hyung..."
Seokjin's heart clenched at the sight of RM's pain and resignation. "Don't call... call anyone... I made work... easier for you... leave me alone..and end it all today."
Tears welled up in Seokjin's eyes as he grappled with the conflicting emotions of loyalty, regret, and disbelief. How could someone they had known and trusted for so long be capable of such actions? The question haunted him as he felt the weight of RM's fading presence.
"Would such a person really kill someone?" Seokjin's voice trembled with uncertainty and grief, the reality of the situation crashing down on him. The bond they shared, forged through years of laughter and hardships, now seemed fragile in the face of betrayal and tragedy.
As Seokjin felt the life slipping away from RM, a gut-wrenching cry escaped his lips, echoing the collective anguish of the group. "NOOOO...." The sound reverberated through the empty factory, a lament for the loss of not just a friend, but a part of themselves they could never regain.
TWELVE HOURS AGO,
Taehyun and Hueningkai had been awake the entire night, tirelessly scanning countless CCTV feeds. Taehyun had managed to catch a few hours of sleep around 5 AM, but Hueningkai was still at it, determined to find the crucial footage. The painstaking process of hacking each camera took an immense amount of time, but it was necessary. Directly checking the cameras could have alerted others, potentially leading to police involvement and a whole host of problems they couldn't afford.
Finally, as the sun began to rise, a triumphant cry broke the silence. "Found it. Hyung, I found it. Phew! Now I am sleeping. Don't disturb me," Hueningkai announced, his voice tinged with exhaustion and relief. He threw himself onto the bed, his fatigue overwhelming him instantly as he fell asleep almost the moment his head hit the pillow.
Taehyun chuckled softly at the sight of Hueningkai, curled up like a small child, clutching a penguin plushie. "Thank you, baby," he murmured, gently ruffling Hueningkai's hair. He turned his attention to the laptop, anticipation and anxiety swirling within him as he played the video.
At first, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. But on closer inspection, Taehyun's eyes widened in realization. Behind So-Hoon, a group of men were subtly positioned, and Namjoon kept glancing their way, clearly trying to reach them to protect Joon-woo.
"That's it. I knew I wasn't wrong about Joon hyung. Those men were there to distract him," Taehyun whispered to himself, a sense of vindication washing over him. He needed to show this to the others immediately.
He glanced back at Hueningkai, now fast asleep and hugging his plushie tightly. Taehyun couldn't help but smile, his heart swelling with gratitude for his younger friend's dedication. He gently brushed Hueningkai's hair again, a silent promise to let him rest undisturbed.
With renewed determination, Taehyun picked up the laptop and quietly left the room. The evidence he held could turn the tide, and he was resolute in his mission to unveil the truth. The stakes were high, but with this proof, they had a fighting chance.
Taehyun barged into Soobin's room, just as he expected, finding the three cuddled up together on the bed with Yeonjun sandwiched in the middle.
"Guys, wake up. I found the video!" he announced excitedly.
"Five more minutes," mumbled Beomgyu, his voice muffled by sleep.
"Yah! Did you not hear what I said?" Taehyun's patience was wearing thin.
Beomgyu simply turned over and hugged Yeonjun tighter, while Yeonjun groaned at the loud noise. Soobin frowned, grabbing an extra pillow and tossing it towards Taehyun. Taehyun dodged it with a sigh.
"It was me and Kai who stayed up all night, not you three. Come on, get up!"
"Just because you're working doesn't mean we aren't. We spent the whole night..." Beomgyu's voice trailed off as he drifted back to sleep.
"Whole night... what? Continue!?" Taehyun leaned forward, intrigued.
"Stop... stop your dirty thinking right now!" yelled Beomgyu, his eyes still closed.
"We were investigating the company that rat, the late bastard Lin, worked for. Turns out he's just a small fish in a big pond. We should be on alert. We did a lot of work," Beomgyu said, flipping his hair dramatically.
"Wasn't his name Feng Lin? Why did you call him 'late bastard Lin'?" asked Yeonjun, looking adorably confused as he rubbed his eyes.
"Hyung, your face is the complete opposite of your personality," Beomgyu said, affectionately rubbing Yeonjun's hair.
"Yah! What do you mean by that? Are you indirectly taunting me?" Soobin asked, clinging to Yeonjun.
"When did I say anything about you? Do you think your face and personality are different too? Do you look innocent but are actually naughty and playful?"
"You... Beomgyu, come here. I'll show you how to respect your hyung," Soobin threatened, grabbing a pillow and whacking Beomgyu with it.
Beomgyu retaliated with his own pillow, sparking a playful pillow fight with Yeonjun caught in the middle, wearing a poker face.
"Alright, alright! Enough!" Taehyun finally intervened. "Listen, we have the evidence we need. Let's focus on taking down that company and clearing Joon hyung's name."
The playful atmosphere quickly sobered as the gravity of the situation sank in. They knew the fight was far from over, but with the new evidence, they had a chance to turn the tide.
"Stop! Stop, both of you! Now, pay attention to what I am saying. Understood?" Taehyun's voice cut through the commotion, sharp and authoritative.
Soobin and Beomgyu immediately stopped their pillow fight and sat up straight, while Yeonjun also sat up, looking attentive.
"Look at this video," Taehyun said, displaying the footage on his laptop. "It clearly shows that Joon hyung was distracted by these men, which is why he couldn't help JK hyung fully. This was a trick played by the assailants."
Beomgyu watched intently, then nodded. "You're right. Even if I were in that situation, I might not have been able to save myself, let alone someone else."
The others nodded in agreement, recognizing the gravity of the situation.
"Let's show this to the hyungs after breakfast," Soobin suggested, and everyone nodded in unison.
"Where's Kai?" Beomgyu asked, looking around.
"He slept. He was awake the whole night," Taehyun replied.
"Hmm, he's getting skilled day by day," Soobin commented, a note of pride in his voice.
"I agree," Yeonjun added.
"Let's get ready and then see what the hyungs say after seeing the video. Hopefully, everything goes well and all the misunderstandings are cleared up," Yeonjun said optimistically.
The others smiled, sharing his hope, and then they got up to get ready for the day.
After half an hour, all the boys gathered in the dining area of the mansion, where a scrumptious breakfast awaited them. The aroma of freshly cooked food filled the air, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
As they settled down to eat, Taehyun turned to Seokjin, who was sitting at the head of the table. "Hyung, are you all free after breakfast?"
Seokjin looked up, a hint of curiosity in his eyes. "Yes, not much work today. Just a few deals to finalize. But why do you ask?"
"We found something important," Taehyun began, glancing around at the others for support. "It's about the incident with Joon hyung and JK hyung. We need to show you a video that explains everything."
Seokjin's expression shifted to one of concern and interest. "Really??Alright, let's finish breakfast first. Then we'll see the videovideo right after it. "
The boys nodded, feeling a mix of anticipation and anxiety. They hoped that this evidence would finally clear up the misunderstandings and bring some clarity to the situation. As they dug into their breakfast, the mood was a blend of seriousness and quiet determination, each of them ready to face whatever came next.
As they finished their breakfast, all six boys watched the video carefully. After watching, all of them felt a heavy weight of regret settling over them. They had accused RM of incompetence, doubting his ability to be in the team and help them effectively. Now, faced with the evidence presented by Taehyun, they realized how wrong they had been.
"We were so quick to judge him," Hoseok murmured, his gaze fixed on his plate, guilt evident in his voice.
"I can't believe we let our doubts cloud our judgment," Jimin added, shaking his head in disbelief.
We owe RM an apology," Taehyung said, his expression pained. "We need to make things right."
Jungkook nodded, his usual confident demeanor replaced by a solemn expression. "Yeah, we need to ask for forgiveness. He deserves that much."
Seokjin sighed, feeling the weight of responsibility as the eldest. "You're right. We'll apologize to RM as soon as he gets home."
"We owe you all a big thank you," Seokjin said, sincerity evident in his voice as he looked at each of them in turn. "Without your efforts, we might have continued to doubt RM's abilities."
Yoongi nodded in agreement, his usually stoic expression softened by genuine appreciation. "You guys really went above and beyond to set things right. Thank you."
The other five members exchanged smiles, feeling a sense of validation for their hard work.
"It was Taehyun and Kai who did all the work. "
"Then a special thanks to both of you. A meal treat on us for all of you and all the dishes will be ordered by Taehyun and Kai only"
All of them giggle and smile hearing this and nods in excitement. They knew that their efforts had not been in vain and that their bond as a team had grown even stronger through this experience.
Meanwhile, RM, the youngest member of the six-membered team, returned home from his shift, unaware of the events that had transpired in his absence. As he entered the room, he noticed the serious atmosphere and the lingering tension among his hyungs.
"What's going on? Any problem? " RM asked, curiosity piqued as he looked around at the solemn faces of his teammates.
Seokjin stepped forward, holding out the laptop with the incriminating footage. "RM, we owe you an apology. We were wrong to doubt you and accuse you of incompetence. This video proves that you were set up, and we should have trusted you from the beginning."
RM's eyes widened in surprise as he watched the footage, his confusion slowly giving way to understanding. "I... I don't know what to say."
In the quiet of the evening, the six brothers gathered around RM, their hearts heavy with the weight of their past misunderstandings. As they sat together, RM's exhaustion was palpable, his eyes betraying a weariness that ran deep.
"RM, we're truly sorry for what happened," Seokjin began, his voice filled with genuine remorse. "We realize now that it was all a misunderstanding, and we should have trusted you."
RM nodded, his expression distant as if lost in his own thoughts. "I appreciate your apologies, but I'm not sure if I can rejoin the team," he admitted quietly.
The others exchanged glances, concern etched into their features. They had noticed RM's withdrawal, his solitary meals and late nights, but they had been unsure how to approach him about it.
"Why not, RM?" Hoseok asked gently, reaching out to place a comforting hand on RM's shoulder.
RM sighed, his shoulders slumping under the weight of his burdens. "It's not just about the misunderstanding," he confessed. "There are other things... things I can't talk about."
The room fell silent, the air heavy with unspoken words and unvoiced concerns. RM's pain was evident, his struggles written plainly on his face.
"We're here for you, RM," Jungkook spoke up, his voice soft but resolute. "Whatever you're going through, you don't have to face it alone."
RM managed a small smile, touched by their sincerity. "Thank you," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I appreciate that."
As the night wore on, the six brothers sat together in quiet companionship, their bond stronger than ever before. Though RM's troubles remained unspoken, they were united in their determination to support him, no matter what challenges lay ahead.
And as they parted ways for the night, RM's smile lingered, a silent acknowledgment of the love and understanding that had been offered to him. "Apology accepted," he said softly, his voice filled with warmth and gratitude.
That night RM was happy that the misunderstanding was cleared and thanked Taehyun, Kai as they played the major role in finding the video. But he was nervous, nervous because tonight all the mysteries written in the diary will be unclosed under the full moonlight.
RM quickly eats his dinner and goes up on the terrace and sits on one of the chair. He quickly opens the diary and just like magic in the movies, words appeared in sky blue below the coded black words.
*May 12, 20XX**
I received this diary on my 12th birthday from my sister. She said it's special, that if I write in it under the moonlight, the secrets will be hidden. I don't fully understand what she meant, but it doesn't matter. So I'm going to write with my ballpoint pen as usual.
**May 20, 20XX**
A few days ago, Master found this diary. He scolded me, and I went without food for the whole day. I've been confined to my room for two days. I only got this diary back upon my big sister's request.
**May 21, 20XX**
Today, my sister came into my room. She said this diary is special. I told her I didn't understand. Then she showed me. The book had a hidden pen attached, visible only upon closer inspection. She said the pen's ink is special, only visible in the light of the full moon. She showed me, and it's true. I thanked her and began writing with that pen. And if anyone finds it again, I'll write in a false decoded language with a pen.
**June 5, 20XX**
Yesterday, I was freely roaming the house when Master informed me that important guests were coming. He told me to get dressed up. I hurried back to my room. In the evening, the guests arrived. Master said he hadn't given me a birthday gift yet. So today, he presented one. I was thrilled, thinking he remembered my birthday, unlike my big sister. But then he exchanged a briefcase with a burly, short man, and to my horror, he pushed me forward. When I resisted, he forcefully pushed me, and I stumbled into the burly man's lap. "This is my gift," Master declared. Did he just sell me off?
**June 15, 20XX**
Today, I find myself in another house, serving as a lowly slave. Master sold me here, essentially as a replacement for his son. He doesn't want his real son involved in the mafia, so I'm here to deceive others. But his son prefers to travel the world. So if I stay home, there's a risk of being exposed as a fraud. Master sends me to other mafia associates within his group, earning money by using me as a pawn more likely a slave. Here, I'm treated terribly. They withhold food if I don't cook well or clean the rooms properly. I detest this. I yearn to be with my big sister.
**July 17, 20XX**
I despise it here. It's been a month since I've been slaving away. I tried contacting my big sister, but when the burly man found out, he beat me mercilessly. I couldn't even move. He then carried me like a ragdoll and tossed me into the damp, filthy basement. I spent another day without food or water, sprawled on the dirty floor.
**July 27, 20XX**
Yesterday, the burly man brought some of his cronies over for drinks. As soon as the other maids heard, they abandoned their work and practically fled out through the back door. I was bewildered. I was about to follow them when the burly man caught me. He ordered me to serve him and his friends. I couldn't refuse. I stayed. They partied all night, drinking excessively. The five men leered at me like I was their next meal. And then it dawned on me. They were getting drunk and becoming lecherous. I left the bottle on the table and attempted to escape, but a hefty man grabbed my arm. He started groping my chest, his hands descending lower and lower. I struggled to break free. Without a second thought, I smashed the wine bottle on his head and bolted out of the house. I ran and ran, then caught a bus, paying with the savings I received from my big sister. I sprinted to Master's house and burst into my sister's arms.
**August 10, 20XX**
Today, Master discovered that I killed one of his associates. He locked me up in my room for two days as punishment. But hunger gnawed at my insides, driving me to desperation. I couldn't bear it any longer. Today, I broke the door open with a rod handle and made a beeline for the kitchen, ready to devour anything in sight. Surprisingly, when Master saw me, he didn't lash out in anger as I expected. Instead, he wore a strange expression, one I couldn't quite decipher. Without a word, he simply turned and left.
**September 5, 20XX**
"Master believes I have the potential to become a formidable fighter. He saw this in me when I refused to surrender to my fate, killed the one who tried to rape me, and broke down doors to find food. He envisions molding me into a cold, ruthless warrior unlike any the mafia world has ever seen. At first, I couldn't grasp what he meant. But today, he took me to a vast, dry, dusty ground where numerous men were engaged in various forms of combat training—shooting, kung fu, sword fighting, and more. Without warning, Master began to whip me mercilessly, each lash driving me closer to the brink of unconsciousness. I couldn't comprehend what was going through Master's mind as he inflicted pain upon me.
**October 10, 20XX**
The daily ritual of Master's whippings continues unabated. I can barely muster the strength to rise from my bed without wincing in agony. It's been a month now, and my body has grown accustomed to this relentless torture. I can only hope that it will come to an end soon.
**November 10, 20XX**
Today, Master introduced me to the art of archery. However, his methods of instruction leave my body numb and my mind cold. With every missed shot, Master inflicts knife cuts on my thighs, each cut leaving behind a trail of searing pain. I now bear 22 stitches on both legs, a constant reminder of the brutal price of failure. Despite my inability to walk, I am dragged to the training ground, where the blood from my wounds has not yet dried. Forced to practice amidst my own suffering, I have honed my skills to perfection. Not a single shot misses its mark now, whether the target is stationary or in motion. But the scars on my legs serve as a permanent testament to the cruelty of Master's methods.
**November 28, 20XX**
Master's frustration reached a boiling point today when he discovered that I was unable to run properly. Already irritated by the string of cancelled deals, he sought to vent his anger upon me. With a rope tied around my waist and large chunks of meat attached to it, I was led to the other side of the training ground by some of Master's men. Familiar with such punishments, I obeyed without protest.
As we approached a river lined with wooden barrels and planks, confusion clouded my mind. But then, I noticed the water stirring, and a massive green tail emerged before disappearing beneath the surface. The river was infested with crocodiles.
Without warning, I was kicked into the water, plunging into the murky depths below. Panic seized my senses as I spotted four crocodiles, their predatory instincts honed in on my presence. I swam frantically, clawing my way onto a floating barrel for dear life. Fear gripped my heart as I witnessed the sinister shapes of more crocodiles lurking beneath the surface.
With trembling limbs, I navigated the treacherous waters, darting from plank to barrel, pursued relentlessly by the ravenous predators drawn by the scent of meat. Every moment felt like an eternity as I fought to evade their snapping jaws, driven by a primal instinct to survive.
Finally reaching the safety of the other side, I collapsed onto solid ground, my body trembling with exhaustion and terror. It is now the early hours of the morning, yet sleep eludes me. The horrifying image of the crocodiles closing in on me haunts my every thought, leaving me unable to find solace even in the darkness of night.
**February 1, 20XX**
In these three months, I have been subjected to countless forms of torture designed to fortify my mind and body. My skin has been marked by innumerable scars, though my body has always been quick to heal, leaving only faint traces of my ordeals. The rigorous training has become a grim routine, and as my skills have improved beyond average, the punishments have lessened. This progress has afforded me more time with Big Sister, whose presence is my only solace in this brutal world. Today, she made jajangmyeon noodles for me. I love them. Whenever I am with her, the weight of my burdens lifts, and for a moment, I feel at peace.
**April 4, 20XX**
Today, Master assigned me my first mission: to eliminate an entire team of six spies from a rival mafia gang. The directive was clear—complete assassination. He handed me a metal mask adorned with wolf eyes and ears, leaving only my mouth visible, and the katana sword with which he had trained me, often by slashing my back. As I prepared, fear gripped me. The thought of dying loomed large. But once inside the building, something in me shifted. I became a force of nature, a monster unleashed. Without a second thought, I assassinated the six men, each death swift and precise. It took only six minutes.
Returning home, I felt a storm of emotions. I spent an hour in the bathroom, staring at my reflection, trying to process the gravity of my actions. Master has taught me nothing but how to kill, showing me every vital point on the human body. I realize now the danger I pose, not just to others but to myself. I must tread carefully, or risk losing the last fragments of my humanity and becoming a truly ruthless, cold-blooded monster.
RM was shocked as he read the journal. An eerie sense of detachment washed over him, as if the memories that should have been his belonged to someone else. Despite his efforts, nothing sparked recognition. Desperation set in, and he pulled out the memory orb, hoping for some flicker of familiarity, but it remained unchanged.
"I just feel bad for myself," he muttered. "No freedom to choose, to live. But I had this big sister. I hope I remember everything soon."
With a deep breath, RM turned to the last page of the journal. His heart pounded with the hope of finding answers, perhaps something that could explain the fragmented and horrific memory of killing Joon-wo's parents.
**23 April, 20XX**
"I killed her."
The stark, chilling words stood out, just as they had the night before. But this time, as he stared at the page, more words began to seep through, blooming across the paper. RM frowned in confusion and dread.
"I am responsible for my big sister's death."
"How is this possible? I only killed Joon-wo's parents? And I loved my big sister very much!! So how can I kill her? I am tired!! Let's read a few pages back. Maybe I can get a hint as to what exackty took place!
RM flipped back through the pages, his heart racing as he sought any clue that could help him piece together the fragmented shards of his memory. The eerie feeling of detachment lingered, and he felt as though he was on the brink of uncovering something crucial. Just as he began to focus on an entry from several months earlier, a sudden noise made him look up.
Before he could react, a black hood was thrown over his head. Strong arms grabbed him, yanking him away from his desk. He struggled, kicking and flailing, but the grip was ironclad. His attempts to scream were muffled by the fabric over his mouth. His world became a blur of darkness and muffled sounds as he was dragged away.
The diary fell from his hands, landing with a soft thud on the floor. The last page, with its ominous words, fluttered in the sudden movement.
The journey felt like an eternity, each bump and jolt sending fresh waves of panic through RM's body. His mind raced with questions. Who had taken him? Why now, just as he was beginning to unravel the mystery of his past?
While RM was above, reading the diary, So-Hoon was messaging the person with the code name 'Blue Kill'.
**Blue Kill:** Give hint about that diary to Seokjin.
**So-Hoon:** Why?
**Blue Kill:** It's time to take another action. When they read it, they will surely take action that will be in my favor.
**So-Hoon:** It won't hurt the others, right?
Blue Kill is offline.
So-Hoon feels a surge of anger but resolves to follow through. He needs to get revenge on RM, no matter the cost.
So-Hoon took a deep breath, steeling himself for the task ahead. He found Seokjin in the study, flipping through some documents. Seokjin looked up, his eyes sharp as ever.
"Hey, Seokjin," So-Hoon said, trying to keep his tone casual. "Busy with work?"
Seokjin gave a slight nod, his expression neutral. "Always. What's up?"
"Oh, nothing much. Just thought I'd check in," So-Hoon replied, taking a seat across from Seokjin. "It's been a hectic few days."
Seokjin hummed in agreement, his attention returning to the documents. So-Hoon knew he had to be subtle. "By the way," he said, as if it had just occurred to him, "I saw RM reading some old diary earlier. It looked pretty interesting."
Seokjin's eyes flicked up, just for a moment. "A diary, you say?"
"Yeah," So-Hoon continued, maintaining his casual demeanor. "It seemed like something that might have some, uh, valuable information. You know how RM is with these things."
Seokjin closed the file in front of him and leaned back in his chair, scrutinizing So-Hoon. "Interesting," he said, his tone noncommittal. "Thanks for the heads-up."
So-Hoon felt a pang of unease under Seokjin's intense gaze but forced a smile. "No problem. Just thought it might be useful."
Seokjin watched So-Hoon for a moment longer before nodding. "I'll look into it. By the way, I need to have a word with RM about some other matters. Thanks again."
As Seokjin stood up, So-Hoon took that as his cue to leave. He walked out of the study, his mind racing. He knew Seokjin wasn't fooled by his act. Seokjin was the mafia king for a reason—he missed nothing.
Seokjin watched So-Hoon leave, already thinking about what his real intention might be. It was clear So-Hoon had a reason for mentioning the diary. Seokjin decided he needed to find RM, not just to talk about the diary but also to discuss other important issues. However, he had to finish some urgent work first.
The deals he was working on were crucial for Byung-ho's income. They had put a lot of pressure on their partners, who had no choice but to agree to the terms. Seokjin needed to finalize these deals by signing the contracts and sending a few messages.
He sat back at his desk and reviewed the contracts one last time. The negotiations had been tough, but they had won. Seokjin signed each contract, his pen moving quickly over the paper. He then typed out emails, attaching the signed documents and giving final instructions to his team. Each signature and email was a reminder of his power and the responsibilities he carried.
Meanwhile, in a dimly lit room, Byung-ho was livid, glaring at the man in the mask. "Are you an idiot? That diary can't be touched by anyone other than RM himself. It was a magical gift given by Hana to 'her'."
The man in the mask scoffed, his confidence unwavering. "So what if others read it? What will happen, huh?"
Byung-ho's eyes burned with anger. "That diary will burn itself, and RM will regain all his memory."
The man's bravado faltered for a second. Realization dawned on him, and he screamed in fury, hurling a glass vase to the floor where it shattered into pieces. The room fell silent, the tension palpable.
Byung-ho took a deep breath, regaining his composure. "You have no idea what you've done. If RM remembers everything, our plans could be in jeopardy."
The man in the mask clenched his fists, his mind racing. "Then we need to act fast. We can't let RM regain his memory completely. We need to find him before it's too late. We need to go. "
Byung-ho nodded, his eyes narrowing. "Agreed. Let's move. We don't have much time. But where? "
"To kidnap RM before everything falls apart."
So-Hoon was scrolling through his phone when he received a call from an unknown number.
"Hello? Who is this?"
"It's me. Did you tell them about the diary?"
"Of course. I don't need you checking on me. I do my work very well."
"Well, there's something I didn't know before. The book burns on its own if anyone else touches it. Then our only clue will be reduced to ashes."
"So, what now?"
"I'm sending my men to kidnap RM. You need to come along too."
"What's the plan?"
"Just do as I say." The call ended abruptly.
So-Hoon was confused but knew he had to follow the orders, despite his reservations.
After signing the last document and sending the final email, Seokjin leaned back, feeling satisfied. Half an hour had passed in a blink. The deals were secure, and Byung-ho would be pleased. Now, it was time to find RM and figure out what was in that diary.
Seokjin stood up with a sense of urgency. He knew the diary was important and couldn't wait any longer. Leaving the study, he set off to find RM, ready to face whatever secrets the diary held. But when he went upstairs, he found no one around. He was confused so he makes a call to RM but the phone was switched off. Seokjin frowned that all of a sudden where RM went. He was looking around when he saw a book lying on the floor. He picks it up and sees that it is RM's diary. And the page that opened made Seokjin pale and his eyes were widened up.
"I killed her. "
"I am responsible for my big sister's death"
This statement made Seokjin go cold and he rushed downstairs and yelled to call everyone.
"See this. See what is written in RM's diary"
As soon as Yoongi took the book in his hand, fire caught up at one side and everyone was shocked seeing this. Before more damage can happen to the book, Yoongi throws it on the ground. Seokjin picks it up again but no fire starts. Yoongi frowns.
"Why does the fire starts on its own when Yoongi hyung touches but nothing happens when Seokjin touches it? "
" Don't waste time on such things! I will read it to you" Said Seokjin impatiently.
"I killed her"
"Who did Namjoon killed? Who was his sister? We did not knew anything about this! "
"Don't you guys get it? " Asked Seokjin. Others frown at the question and sees the diary held by Seokjin. Others still look at Seokjin with a puzzled face.
"Guys!! See the date! April 23! The same date when Do-yun hyung and Chae-Yeong noona were killed!! "
"Come on hyung!! That's ridiculous!! It can't be? How can Namjoon be related to them??!!! " asks Jungkook trying not to freak out at the unexpected similarity.
" Let's ask RM directly before making any wrong assumptions!! " Said Yoongi.
Others nod and then give a call to RM. But it was switched off.
"It's been the same since before. Dont know where he went all of a sudden?? " Said Seokjin.
"Maybe some urgent work came up. Leta wait till he comes back" Said Hoseok.
Seokjin was looking all impatient and worried. Others knew that Jin is more troubled about that 23 night than others. He was their to orotcet them while others were at other place due to other reasons. So when they arrived to help Jin they saw Jin holding hands of the couple ans crying bitterly. It had took a huge toll on him than the others.
Suddenly, a message popped up in the group chat.
"I have captured your So-Hoon hyung. If you want him back, then come at the abandoned factory at the Baker's corner. I have sone dembads that you need to complete "
Others were stunned to read the message. How can RM do such a thing? They knew the resentment that he had of So-hoon, but kudnapping him was something they never thought he would do!!
"Let's go right away! I don't want to waste time." Said Seokjin and hurriedly move towards the garage.
Meanwhile, So-Hoon who went along with the masked man saw RM lying unconscious.
"Where is the diary? Why did you bring him alone? What if Seokjin or the others burn that diary by mistake!?? I thought you wanted to save the diary!! " Said So-Hoon.
"That diary..... It was hidden by my men. Don't trouble me with that matter!! " Said the masked man with annoyance.
"But isn't preserving the evidence more important. Why did you even kidnap RM? "
"Because i.... I just want to create trouble. Nothing much. Now keep quite."
So-Hoon was confused but believed the masked man as they both had the same goals as thought by So-Hoon.
Did you... Did you really kill Joon-wo's parents?. We read your diary. It says you killed big sister. Was she Chae-Yeong noona??" His voice trembled, betraying the fear of uncovering a truth too painful to bear.
"What? How can you say so."
"Date!! The date is same. How can that be a coincidence? Huh?!! " asks Seokjn.
RM's world seemed to crumble around him as he struggled to comprehend the accusation." I don't....know....i think I did...but...."His words faltered as Seokjin's expression hardened with a mix of anguish and accusation.
"You really did kill them....You did not!!
Hana came in that abandoned factory out of thin air.
"Namjoon!! Namjoon!! Where are you!!??? "
" Madam Hana over here!! RM is in danger. Please help!! " Shouted Jimin.
Hana rushed over there within seconds. She started checking on Namjoon. Her face looked horrified.
"He... He is not breathing!!..... Namjoon! Namjoon ! ! Wake up! Please..... Please" Whispered Hana crying bitterly. Hearing her, all six boys went cold and face pale.
As Seokjin felt the life slipping away from RM, a gut-wrenching cry escaped his lips, echoing the collective anguish of the group. "Nooooo!" The sound reverberated through the empty factory, a lament for the loss of not just a friend, but a part of themselves they could never regain.
Out of nowhere, Hana appeared in the abandoned factory. "Namjoon! Namjoon! Where are you?" Her voice was frantic, cutting through the oppressive silence.
"Madam Hana, over here! RM is in danger. Please help!" Jimin's shout was desperate, his eyes wide with fear.
Hana rushed over in an instant, her steps quick and urgent. She knelt beside Namjoon, her hands trembling as she checked for signs of life. Her face turned ashen, horror etched into her features. "He... He isn't breathing. Namjoon! Namjoon, wake up! Please... please..." Her voice broke into a whisper, tears streaming down her cheeks.
The six boys stood frozen, their faces drained of color. The realization of what they were witnessing settled over them like a suffocating shroud. Their hearts pounded in unison, each beat a painful reminder of the friend they were losing.
