Ouch.
Islinda woke up on the ground again and this time her body hurt like hell. Did she fall from the bed? Was this becoming a daily occurrence? At least she was covered with the duvet this time and not sprawled far away like the last time. Did Eli do this? Islinda had complicated feelings about it.
But that was until she looked at the bed, there was no sign of Eli and the window was opened, revealing the morning sun. Oh no, Islinda's stomach churned when she realized what that meant. She was late to make breakfast. Not that she hasn't seen that coming after sleeping in. But she had somehow hoped her body would adjust to the change, but that obviously wasn't the case here.
Islinda stood up at once and rushed to the living room only to stop short when she saw the family gathered around for breakfast. The shock was too great when she realized that breakfast was ready and from the look of things, Lillian made it.
