My hair was in a low bun and I had on the velvet dress I had purchased earlier in the day. I was wearing a green diamond snake necklace and diamond stud earrings to match. My hair was held by diamond clips and I had a tennis bracelet on my wrist.
I had on light makeup on my face although I went heavy on the eyes with the black liner and eyeshadow. I had also chosen to have black lipstick on my lips. Inspecting myself in the mirror, I smiled.
I saw Kai through the reflection behind me trying to put on his tie the right way. I laughed while shaking my head and walked towards him and started tying it for him.
"You look beautiful, " he remarked.
"Oh yeah? " I asked sarcastically.
He laughed as he stared at my face while I helped him with a task he should have learned centuries ago.
"I love how much you've grown. I'd like to take credit for it but it's all you, " Kai said.
