I jerked awake and frantically looked around for any signs of my attacker. I clutched the sheets in my hands full of fear.
What had happened? Had she killed me and I was in another universe?
The familiar rose gold wallpaper I was used to waking up to was nowhere in sight. Recognition flashed in my eyes when I realized where I was. I was in Kai's room.
"You're awake? "His familiar velvet voice asked.
I looked in the direction of the voice and saw Kai walking towards me with only a pair of white pants. His muscular but lean chest was on full display and he was barefoot as usual. He was muscular but not bulky.
The veins on his arms looked so good that I knew he saw that I was ogling him. I looked away and tucked a strand of hair behind my ear to hide the fact that I was blushing.
"What happened? "I asked but my voice came out as a squeak.
