Oblivious to all that was happening, Irina came out of the bathroom pretty happy. When she came, she saw Alan having a disgusted expression on his face.
( Tsk! Looks like the cat is out of the bag. )
Irina was able to guess right away that Alan might have known that he had been deceived by her. However, she did not care. The contract had already been signed and he could not escape her clutches.
"Hey, Alan! Don't space out and follow me!"
Irina said cheerfully.
Alan gave Irina a cold stare and turned away, clearly not interested in talking to her. Irina shrugged it off and led the way into the manager's room. Alan followed her but he was clearly not in a very good mood.
"Is everything okay? You seem upset. You don't like your new office?"
Irina asked innocently. It might seem like she was concerned about Alan if people didn't know anything else. In reality, Irina was implying that whether Alan liked it or not, he had to work here.
Alan replied with a sneer.
"Oh, everything's just peachy. I'm just realizing how foolish I was to trust you and sign those contracts. You really played me for a fool!"
Irina remained calm and composed.
"Heh! But the contracts were signed fair and square? You knew what you were getting into, and you agreed to those terms yourself. You can't back out now."
Irina said.
She might have hidden certain facts from Alan but the conditions she put forth were all known to Alan. It was Alan who thought that Irina was doing him a favor. He did not even try to find out why Irina was trying to help him because of how happy he was.
Alan tried to argue, but Irina stood her ground. She had done her research and was well-prepared for any challenges that might come her way. In the end, Alan had no choice but to fulfill his obligations according to the terms of the contract.
At that moment, Cecilia entered the office where she thought she would be meeting with her new manager.
He had many complaints but with the arrival of Cecilia, he thought that minor difficulties did not matter. In order to get close to Cecilia, he was willing to endure all the hardships from Irina.
Cecilia was dressed in a pink floral sundress with white sneakers. The dress was fitted at the top and flared out at the bottom, emphasizing her curves.
Alan was struck by her beauty - she had sparkling green eyes, full lips, and a warm smile. Alan couldn't help but notice how the dress perfectly complimented her figure. The fabric flowed softly around her legs as she walked, and the delicate pattern of flowers brought out the warmth in her complexion. It was clear that she had put thought and care into her appearance, but the outfit still looked effortless and casual.
Arguing with Irina, he was not convinced a bit to work as their manager but he was fully convinced that he had made the right choice when he saw Cecilia. He justified his decision by thinking that he is willing to endure all the hardships for Cecilia.
Anyway, he should focus on the positive side rather than the negative, since he couldn't change the past.
Irina who was at the side rolled her eyes and sneered.
After that, they made small talk and finally Cecilia asked.
"You know that we are on bad terms with Luna Gracia? You might be in trouble if she targets you because of us."
Cecilia was very worried about Alan. Idols have got all the power and connections in the world. It is possible that Luna could make it harder for Alan to get jobs in other industries as well if she wants.
Idol has all kinds of connections and power in not only the entertainment industry but also many other industries. And for people like Luna, this kind of thing was not impossible.
As Alan was not from Idol World, she was afraid that he might not know the real consequences of going against Luna.
"About that. Alan said he wanted to resi…"
Irina wanted to say that Alan wanted to resign and was a coward. However, Alan stopped her before she finished her sentence and glared at her.
( You really want to die? )
His glare seemed to imply that. How could he let Cecilia find out that he was thinking of resigning and running away? Wouldn't that make him a coward? Wouldn't it be too embarrassing if this was known by Cecilia? He couldn't let Irina speak a word about that.
"Resi?"
Cecilia had no idea what Irina wanted to say. However, Alan didn't let her think further about what Irina wanted to say.
"Luna? Who is she anyway? I have always hated her shows and her voice sounds like a donkey. I am not afraid of anything, especially Luna. Cecilia, don't worry. I will make sure that Luna regrets ever creating problems for you. I will make you shine bigger than that Luna!"
Alan boasted.
Just moments before, Alan was complaining about how Irina had duped him and how much he regretted it. He changed his mind faster than the wind.
Cecilia didn't know what to say as Alan was boasting too much. Who is Luna? She is someone with hundreds of millions of fans across the country. There are not many people in the country who have not heard of Luna Gracia.
However, Cecilia didn't say anything to Alan's boasting. She thought that Alan was just acting tough in order to not worry her and Irina. She was also grateful that Alan was taking a risk in order to help them.
After that, Alan returned to his home. He only went to Dreamwave Entertainment today because Irina said that he needed to get familiar with the place as it would be where he would be spending the rest of his time after school.
No more football training. No more going out with friends. He had work and work.
He thought that those things were okay since he didn't really need football training. He was already one of the best footballers in high school and had performed excellently in every single match. That's the reason why he was a regular on the football team even though he was just a first-year.
As for hanging out with friends, he could still find some time to do that. And it was also not like he was frequently going out with his friends. They go when they are not busy and he can still go if there is no work.
Alan sat on a sofa as he flipped through the book called 'GUIDE TO FIRST CLASS IDOL MANAGER'. It was the book that taught the fundamentals of being an Idol Manager and what they needed to know. The book was most popular and one of the best-selling books for anyone trying to be an Idol's Manager.
If being an Idol was the best job in the world then the second best job would definitely go to an Idol Manager. Idol's manager is also widely respected and is one of the most admired jobs in the world.
He had to read this book and get some kind of idea of what he needed to know to do his job as an Idol Manager. He spent his entire day reading the book and trying to grasp what an Idol's Manager did.
The next day was also spent getting the required knowledge about Idol's Manager. However, he had already finished reading 'GUIDE TO FIRST CLASS IDOL MANAGER' and was reading books on the Music Industry, Business Management, Public relations and marketing, Talent management, and Legal and Contractual books.
This was all the knowledge that was required to become a good Idol Manager. He needs to know everything related to the Idol industry if he wants to help Cecilia.
He slowly digested whatever those books were saying and gained a new insight into how to go about his job as an Idol's Manager.
